Most dreams settle deep within.
I wrote a feeling of somewhere close;
all the while never seeing much of my skin.
Open eyes go to the back of my mind to swim in
pixelated water, body made of breath or crows.
Watch a wall, in a black room, a face of heroin.
A false interpretation of illumination where light is thin.
I’d like my viewer to come into dark shimmers which expose
a place where real is forgotten as quickly as dreams begin.
As rabbit invites a chase, I ask you;
move softly breathe lightly
into a garden of black violet night.
If to gaze upon lips were a sin
you’d be the one to impose.
Something for your heart to spin
into a place deep within.
I know you want someone close.
Cold, wet skin to skin.
Hear a cry in
you a crows
screeching like a broken violin.
