The girl who gave you Billie Eilish vibes in MemeM is Swan. You can see her here at 6:36 The girl in 10:15 is Dosie. And the rapper you like is Yuki. I recommend Pretty Psycho, Skip Skip and Autopilot. Great b-sides! Also, Swan already made her solo debut with the song Twenty. She's super talented.

they released a rock song before “can we talk again” as their first pre-debut track called “my heart skip a beat” and it is SO GOOD

Purple Kiss has a storyline concept of being a coven of witches, FYI.... memeM is pronounced 'mem mem', which is a play on a Korean phrase meaning "to hover", as in one's thoughts. The story concept trailer that was released prior to the mv talks about how they like to work their way into people's consciousness and take over... in the mv, it starts with a "brain vault" which the ladies have gotten into and are invading and wreaking havoc on a person's thoughts. In Nerdy, our coven has invaded a broadcast station and is not pleased with how they're portraying witches, so they take control and show them how it's done. LOL In the scene with the "Freak Show", the girls start comforting the "freak" with eyes for a face and let her know she's beautiful to them and shouldn't hide.

The Intro performance songs are short a minute to a minute and a half. They each also have an original pre-release introduction song that are also around a minute and a half that can be found in the Debut Trailer playlist on their youtube page, which a good way to help put names to faces of the members.

There are 5 intro songs. One for each major title track. 7Heaven was the only one not to have an intro as it was a mini album. Since they are all shorter relative to the main songs/MVs I suggest also checking the dance practice for each intro as there are some cool details that can be missed in the main videos. The intros highlight their dancing better than some of the MVs.

been a fan since "can we talk again" and it's still my favorite song. purple kiss are one of two groups that have a no skip discography for me, the other being billlie. twice is my ult group, but purple kiss is a close second. these girls deserve a win and more recognition so badly. i wish the fandom were more organized. we don't really have a solid voting base. there are a couple on twitter, but it's really disorganized and most people don't know where or how to vote and when. we need to be better for our girls! need to make a discord or something but i just don't have the time, funds, or knowledge to head a voting coalition

Their whole discography is great! And you’ll love their intros as well with their unique choreographies. Plus there’s another pre debut song next to “can we talk again”, which is called “my heart skips a beat”. :)

Can We Talk Again is an absolute masterpiece! Still can't believe they did that pre-debut.. The girl whose voice you were talking about in that song is Swan. The girl on the screen who you thought was her was Dosie (who btw was the girl with short blonde hair leading the dance break in Ponzona). Even tho CWTA was an amazing song, only 4 of the members actually had lines. Kind of a weird choice (and one that wasn't very popular with early fans back when it was released lol)

Can we talk again was supposed to be only the vocal line and Yuki. It wasn't popular with the fans because we didn't know that before the song was released. And some parts were confusing as they sounded like the other members so it seemed like they were given scraps for lines. But when the behind the scenes was released and we were told that it was just the vocal line and Yuki, it made more sense and people relaxed a bit

You should check out Swan on Lee Mujin Service doing a cover of Beyonce's Halo. She also did a cover of INVU on the music program (Start Over? My memory stinks), and she had a couple appearances on King of Masked Singer

Not having "Love is Dead" on today's lineup was a bit of a miss. Love is Dead, Autopilot, Pretty Psycho and My Heart Skips a Beat are all great B-sides (better then the title tracks IMO).

Yuki being Queen of the Nerds is iconic 😂 'Can We Talk Again' is a beautiful song and MV. Had it on repeat for a long time. I don't usually like kpop Christmas songs that much, but 'My My' made it onto the short list of ones i really like! My brain went into meltdown the first time I heard 7Heaven. I was so confused. It's soooo different from the image they've cultivated so far 😂 I'd also request some performance videos: 1. Their other predebut track 'My Heart Skip a Beat' 2. 'Pretty Psycho' 3. 'The Halloween version of Zombie' You won't regret it!

I'm so glad you mentioned their versatility, it's the one thing i take pride in as a plory.... purple kiss does not stick to the same sound, they are always trying something new and i love them for it. i hope that you will someday check out their bsides, they're amazing.

I'm being literal when I say they're underrated. One of my ult groups, they deserve more recognition, their music is just so so good (and their concepts and their personalities and of course they're stunning). I'm sure you have lots of recommendations by now besides the intros (and the story films, idk if that's also what people meant, those are great); but definitely do check out their song My Heart Skip a Beat (1st pre-debut); and "Skip Skip", "Period", "2am", "So WhY", "Twinkle", "Cursor", "FireFlower", "Autopilot", "agit", and "Mistake" are just some of their many amazing b-sides. Okay I listed way too many, but suffice to say they don't have a bad song.

Yuki is the bias! Swan has the distinctive voice and the one you pointed out at the end was Dosie, who had the sharp bob in many of their early mvs. Watching their intros in order would be fun! They have loads of great videos for their b-sides too, performance mvs for My Heart Skip a Beat, Pretty Psycho, Agit, Love Is Dead and Cast Pearls Before Swine, a dance practise for Skip Skip, cute self-filmed casual mvs for Autopilot, Hate Me Hurt Me Love Me and Biscuit and live clips for Oh My Gosh, Summer Rain, Cursor, Joah, T4ke, Hello, ZzZz and Period!

Yeah, I love them so much too. Their B-Side songs are masterpieces too. Luckily they‘re so creative and have a bunch of amazing videos. You would like their other songs too.

the girl you like is yuki! she's their main rapper and even more impressively she has written almost all of her raps since the beginning! also the girl with the billie eilish like voice is swan! she had the pink hair in 7heaven! those 2 were strong contenders for biases when i first got into purki like i rly thought they were gonna be the ones til i heard more of chaein singing and fell in love lol. she's got a very r&b coded voice. her cover of the weekend by sza is sooooo good! can't wait for the intro vids! pk and oneus have such amazing intros that you just desperately wish they were full songs. glad you're enjoying the girls rj!

The girl you love so much (Yuki, the rapper) has debuted in a second group through the show Queendom Puzzle in 2023, called EL7Z UP (pronounced "elzz up", it's "Puzzle" backwards). It's a group consisting of members of different groups and soloists. It's no coincidence, she was popular among the audience, she got the third most number of votes in the finale.

You def need to check out some of their Performance Videos, especially the remix / Halloween Vers or Zombie, Cast Pearls Before Swine, My Heart Skip a Beat, & the song Autopilot (it’s just a great B side). Would love It if you checked out their solo debut trailers. It would help you get to recognize them better! There should be a playlist on RU-vid with their solos so is easier to watch. Also they have an amazing choreography! The members produce, compose and even create some of their choreos

At 5:22 the member you said reminds you of/looks like Dahyun or Kazuha is Na GoEun. I always thought she looked like Taeyeon mixed with Lia from itzy on occasion. Not always but sometimes especially in motion like you stated!

So in Can We Try Again, even though it looks like all the members are singing, only Goeun 7:25, Yuki 7:36, Chaein 7:54, and Swan 7:13 were on the song and everyone else just mouthed along in the MV. The one you like with the Billie Eilish-esque voice is our maknae Swan.

I'm also having trouble telling them apart. Swan is my favorite singer, though I think at times a couple of them sound similar to her, and often if it's not clear from the MV who's singing, I honestly can't tell. I THOUGHT I had a bias - Ireh who I fell in love with because she was so cute in Sweet Juice, but since then I can't even tell which one she is. They change their looks so much between MV's.

ur new so dw, it'll come with time, u'll get there) ireh: ponzona - long blonde hair zombie - red/orange hair memem - lol there they all have black hair, but she has bangs ( like almost always in the other eras) nerdy - dark red hair sweet juice - you know alrd but anyway, light brown hair with highlights 7heaven - light red/orange hair she has distinct hamster like cheeks so it should be easier to look for that trait I think

The member you like is Yuki, shes also my bias... Got to meet them last year and all of them (Yuki especially) are so much prettier in person. Also there is one other predebut song, My Heart Skips a Beat, that you need to check out and if you dont react to any other b-side I highly recommend reacting to Twinkle at least.

You got the voices right but mixed up the girls. The girl that sounds like Billie Eilish is Swan. You recognized her voice correctly, but you’re mistaking her for Dosie in the video. Swan is the one who starts Can We Talk Again. And yea this was pre debut! Along with My Heart Skip A Beat. It think it’s crazy that they could act this well in their first MV (they only had a performance by video for My Heart Skip a Beat which released first.) The fact that Ireh was able to look so graceful in her water scene on her first ever MV is wild to me. It’s not easy to do at all.

The vocals in Can We Talk Again are misleading. Yuki the rapper and the three main vocalists Chaein, Swan and Na Goeun are doing all the vocals. Swan more than anyone. So I think you assumed Dosie was singing when the vid was showing her but she wasn't. Also don't match the names to members in the final scene of My My. The name list is in age order oldest to youngest and the people are not standing in that order. Na Goeun, who was reminding you of people, usually reminds people of Tayeon. 7Heaven is actually my least favorite of their title tracks. I really love their dark concept. Of course they do a spectacular job with it. Honestly I think the lable decided to have them do a mainstrean track to see if that would break them out into more general popularity.
