Purple Kisses is a story about a young 26-year-old woman, desperately trying to navigate
her life through an abusive marriage without any support from her immediate family.
Purple Kisses is a film discussing the painful reality of a young expecting mother stuck in
a manipulative and abusive marriage, unable to escape due to the unrealistic
expectations of society and her financial dependency. Domestic violence is a taboo
topic, not raising awareness enables the abusers. This film attempts to raise awareness
and to be a voice for victims that have no escape and are suffocating under a veil,
concealing the truth behind inter partner violence.
