The movie was totally cool back in the day. This was part of the beginning of the mtv era. If u look at the movies released during this time, u will see that this movie was how 80s was. And thats how we used to act.

My mom wouldn’t allow me to watch the movie because I was too young (I was 4) but I was allowed to listen to the soundtrack which was scandalous as hell at the time. I was so happy when I was able to watch the movie when I was older.

Love this love this love this!!!! Purple rain is bad at times, but does does give it a real try as the film does have heart. My husband took me to see it on the big screen this week and I love it even more now. I've seen it a million times but seeing it in the theater and really embracing it was amazing. I cried so hard during the purple rain song, brought so many memories. Can't wait for more reviews for Classic movies 😃😃😃😃😃
