I just started using the ultimate seat cushion from purple and the back cushion best investment especially sitting working day and night truck driving.
It's been a big help to me. I've put the thin one in my pickup truck, and now use the thick one in my desk chair. I'm at the moment no longer in the truck, but teaching orientation. Thus, I spend a lot of computer time.
I bought one about a year ago I liked it but Im bigger than you so it would have definitely been better if it was a little wider, but still a good product especially if you were gonna be riding most of the day.
I'm not a professional driver but do make 4 hour trips up into Ohio every few weeks. My 2012 Ram is a great running truck with comfortable seats but even so I had butt "tingles" when I got to where I was going. Then I saw Dale Clay recommend Purple & thought why not? so bought the portable version. It made a world of difference, definitely money well-spent. Glad to see you echo Dale's opinion of it, also. I saw that exact one without the cover at the Petro last night in Dodge City, Al. They had it on display and I tried it out in a chair they provided and was wondering how good it would be. Thanks for the review! I need something in this truck!
Come on you cheap truckers lol !!! Seriously it will be the best investment you can make , bought mine at the TA east of Columbus and started liking it couple miles down I 70......loved how it felt the 128 miles to the Indiana line ..... waited for the BIG test .... I 70 across Indiana .... Indiana has horrible roads !!! I hit bumps that almost knocks the steering wheel outta your hands ......I swear to god .... I didn’t feel ONE problem and that’s going over one that your truck and trailer hit at two different times .... this thing is the REAL deal !! If you drive a truck ..... you gotta try one of these !!! Like he said .... if they could only make it a couple inches wider ..
Thank you sir for the honest review, do you recommend the ultimate model or the double for a car seat mostly? i can tell the ultimate kinda huge and thick and wondering is the double version much smaller ? Do both provide same comfort or one better than other ? And have you ever had ever noticed any deformation or melting issues if was left during a summer season, cheers 🍻
Costantine, the Ultimate is too thick for my car seat, but it works great in a truck. I use my thinner model everyday on my chair since I'm now in the office working in Safety. I've never seen any of these deform in any way due to heat. Thanks!
Craig Ryan ,bought one from CVS . Not a purple ,but it works well. Makes a big difference ,less pain when I'm walking very comfortable when I'm driving. Best $20 I've spent .
I highly reccoment they 2 inch one. I’m an office worker with increasingly worse back pain. Coworker has one and I used it yesterday. Back pain was gone after one day! I am ordering one now
Nice video as always Craig....that looks like it will be really comfortable for you Craig...last year when the wife had a few too many wines,I talked her into buying me made to measure leather seat covers with a lovely cushion in them ....makes driving long distances a pleasure.....

My mom is 60 years old and is a tanker driver for Snyder and I don’t care about the price I’m just looking for something that will relieve any pain in the seat for her. Do you think this is the best or is there something more expensive that’s better? Thank you, Sir
I read your description and all i gotta say is, the art teacher is the genius in this life because its not even a job, its a lifestyle that revolves around inspiration and passion. 99% of people love their art teacher and art class. You sir got an A+++ in life. And you even were the wise man that decided to make money while seeing the country. Takes tru grit to step in a big rig. I admire you.
Craig have you considered getting one that paraplegics use in a wheelchair a gel one. l bought one to use while sitting in a bulldozer for 16 to 20 hrs a day. best money l ever spent and my cat has a 4500 dollar seat in it better than any truck on the road. just something to consider when you want comfort or have back issues.
I bought the thickest one you can buy it’s a dream, you’ll need to rotate it after about 4-7 hours. I just kinda stand up and rotate it or move it around
They can't be kept in cars. If they hit over 105deg the structural integrity is diminished. They seem to be better than the competitors but not hard to justify the price. Unless you're suffering bad you can probably get something cheaper
I have had one for about 4 months. It is comfortable but TOO SMALL!!! I have to situate it perfectly on the seat to utilize it or my butt falls off one side or the other. Then when I cleaned the cover I noticed that the actual purple material was TOTALLY FALLING APART. NOT HAPPY. BTW...I only weigh 180 LBS and its too small.
