Bob thanks for inviting Aja, she is no-doubts certified to talk about lipsyncing. Also, the LaBeija last name suits her SO well. Nothing else but respect and admiration for this woman.
Love aja. Hate the flip flop fans who hated her for saying what’s on her mind on s9 just because it was towards valentina but love her right now when it’s towards other queens lol. They switch like ….
guys, I laughed my ass off on this last ''it's chocolate''. Jasmine was the only queen who delivered her ''it's chocolate'' while kind of giggling. And immediately after, Ru repeated the ''it's chocolate'' line, but in a very somber tone, to remind us what a dramatic moment this is. If you have somewhere to watch it back, go for it. It's not chocolate gold, but it's comedy gold.
I think Maddy was also laughing and smiling and giggling saying "it's chocolate" just amused by the absurdity when she went home 🥴 It's such an insane story beat for the show
"now the irony in this for me is no one calling out the fact that Daya Betty is mad that this girls are having second chances... Daya Betty FULLY WENT HOME." hahaha GENIOUS!
@@j.j.j.j.1830 oh make no mistake, I love daya but the bitch need to calm down with the pettiness. She’s acting as if she’s the only one in the competition who’s allowed to do bad.
@@merrygoround8685 okay but is she serving you good tv? Yes. Maybe don’t take everything so deep on a reality tv show lolol she’s also got producers likely fully egging her on and here you are complaining unprompted 😂
“My name is Aja and I’m here to fck shit up!” “You ain’t Sasha Velour bitch, keep your wig on.” “Not BenDeLaChrist!” People love quoting her season 9 rant but her AS3 run was just as fun for me! LOL Always have been an Aja stan, always will be! Love seeing her here!
I love when Ru girls are true fans of the show. Aja quoting the Casting Extravaganza from Season 3 had me rolling! That special had so many queens that wouldn’t be cast until much later seasons. ❤️
@Hey There I don't think she's even doing it on purpose, it looks to me like she just can't help herself and doesn't hear how she comes across. Very oblivious. I wonder what she. thinks now watching the season as it airs
this was the only thing I was thinking when she kept complaining. like ms girl you are only still here BECAUSE of a twist, you went home first like you should be last one to talk
Bosco’s outfits with the panties and bras is another great example for queens who need a bigger budget given by production. She’s a barista working in the middle of a pandemic, she’s barely making money for the kind of drag the show is expecting.
its about creativity tho, queens like the vixen did amazing things with a very little budget. the truth is thin🥚 queens get a pass for everything......!!
@@jacobrivera1048 true but not everyone is so amazing and creative at that, like for example Bob knew how to sew and did most of her outfits but they don’t compare to other queen’s runways who paid designers
I think after Kornbred basically bullied her, it was a domino effect. I'm not saying Jasmine does get a bit overbearing, but if she would have Carrie'd those bitches, I wouldn't mind.
i didn't think about how they just have to stand there in high heels after dancing their asses off in high heels, waiting to dance again in high heels. these women are rly stronger and braver than any us marine
@@SimplyaLady92 They’re still standing in heels tho. Not sure what the point of this comment is except to troll. You ain’t no lady saying things like this 😜
@@SimplyaLady92 I wish that drag doodle person would animate that scene from untucked and have it be Every Puppy vs. Kandy Muse because the feisty pug LET ME BE ARROGANT BAYBEE cuteness needs to be real. I feel like Tamisha would be like an Irish Setter Wolfhound type. Not that they take requests but we all know if they're gonna animate a fight from that season it's gonna be that one 💀💀
If it's rigged I would guess Bosco or Willow because they are frontrunners that could be in trouble if they have to lip sync. Not sure if they even keep in on them. If they don't production could switch a chocolate bar out for gold if a frontrunner lands in the bottom just in case they lose.
I noticed that New York queens generally don´t like the low energy/balad performances on Drag Race. For me... Lady Camden´s performance of Don´t let go, was the best performance of the night. She is such an amazing actress that the emotion was just flowing so well, I could honestly watch that performance over and over again. She was amazing.
Omg I didn't realize that was our Aja until she spoke I was like who is this beautiful cis woman on my screen? I didn't realize she got inducted into the haus of Labeija that'd so exciting for her!!
Cornbread was shown to have regular chocolate BUT people are forgetting that the chocolate I feel could even come into play in the finale! I could definitely see an Angeria vs. Willow lipsync in the finale where the one who last has the golden bar making it a 3 way lipsync for the crown like In season 10! Who knows when it’ll pop up!
I don't think it is going to happen, BUT if the chocolate bar becomes a thing, you know they will try something like that next season. Having in mind how money hungry they are for VH1 commercials' money, next season will have two gold bars and 20 episodes.
@@kennethluzardo it’s from the Season 3 Casting special episode. The short clip of it is on RU-vid and it’s titled something like “Thorgy? Nina West?” Or something like that
I was just watching the pitstop with Monet and Silky, and a comment talked about how Silky gave an actual review with a broken down analysis of the episode and I want to restate that for Aja. Not only were her remarks on point, they were professional and she broke it down for the girls
It was genius of Bob to bring in Aja to talk about this episode. I’m always happy to see her under any circumstances, but Aja is a very compelling lip syncer and her break down of these lip syncs was so smart. I completely agree about Jorgeous. I don’t think she won that lip sync. The thing about Angeria is, IMO, she lip syncs like a grown ass woman, and she made Jorgeous look like a little girl playing dress up.
Love Aja - you can just tell she KNOWS drag, deep in her core. She speaks about it like it's rocket science and she's a damned Nobel Prize winner. Love hearing her critiques.
Y’all are literally forgetting all of Season 11. And the Aiden fight where Heidi cussed everyone out. Like…there has not been friendship only. Gotta keep them all up in the memory
Thank you! I agree, Aja. Jorgeous wasn’t my favorite, and I don’t think she won that first lip sync. She’s kind of like Jasmine where she slays the dance numbers. But Can you imagine her doing anything other than a club banger/dancing number? I’m predicting that’s how she’s going out this season.
2:06 if i was a confident person who did drag for several years and got on the show in a parallel timeline, i would've gone full New York reunion on her "Didn't you leave the first fucking night???"
Jasmine Kennedie is a really fun performer and I love to see it, but she just didn’t seem to connect with any of the songs. The girls that won each lip sink did that much better imo. I agree with the judges wholly for once.
@@georgimihailov4906 just wanted to point that out. even though i love her, i felt like angie was dead in the eye and that threw me off completely. jasmine on the other hand did well and imo gave just the right amount of sex & action.
Correction Bob. The Luther song was the jam that put Luther on the map, his first solo after he left the group Change, after he got tired of singing all those commercials, after he got tired of singing backup for everybody in the world. The classic "Never Too Much". This will never get old. It will always be my favorite Luther song from his vast repertoire of great hits.
Thank you!! When Bob kept saying “Don’t Stop”, I almost lost it! “Never Too Much” is my all-time FAVORITE SONG by Luther Vandross. I know all of the words and have won prizes singing it in contests. Bob must be tired. He also said DeJa’s last name was Scott.
@@SuperSkinandHairCare I didn't catch the "Scott" thing because I kept screaming "Never Too Much"!! If you are winning contests singing anything Luther, you must can sang!! It will always be my favorite Luther song and I love them all!!
@@TheBoostress OMG!! This comment was a blessing. I have had a very hard day at work. I laughed so hard at this. I read it three times and hollered each time. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom though. She sounds like a WINNER! We would have partied for sure. Anyone who loves Luther as much I still do is golden. You sound like you were taught very well. Luther and your mom wanted to throw shoes at Bob for his blasphemy. No one, not anybody, not nay person messes up "Never Too Much". Rest in Heaven, Rise in Glory -The Boostress mom and Luther!!
Bosco has the same pnw vocal fry as me and it’s so funny cause I thought we talk so generic until someone impersonated me at work. I think that’s why boscos confessionals resonate with me cause she sounds like she would be my favorite coworker at Starbucks.
@@GreatBooker me too. I even have a feeling she might win. They picked Crystal Versace and she was the fave. But I do think Crystal was more experienced etc. In my opinion.
Bosco's "Aku from Samurai Jack" eyebrows alone make me dig her just a little more than if she didn't have them... (also, Willow Pill is a freakin' talent ninja)
imo i think her brain is turning into scrambled eggs by running in rupauls never ending hamster wheel race that she is just grumpy they are no where near the finish line
The song options Ru chose for these smack down were expertly chosen. I was gagged. This was this seasons Snatch Game. This separated those who can and those who can't. This season is so slow and a little boring. I've been waiting for this.
4:11 this is actually a linguistic occurrence called "upspeak"! It is seen most often in women and in gay men. It's also known as HRT (high rising terminal) which is a slay for obvious reasons
Did you notice that all the songs of this season are from POC singers. This makes my heart sing. In the LGBTQ community in my humble opinion there has been a glorification and over use of Caucasian pop singers on drag race ( which there are many talented Caucasian pop singers out there). I am pleased to see that the production team decided to diversify lip since songs for this season and share the spotlight on other artists that have made their mark on the drag scene. Please spread love not hate- this is a positive post not intended to offend or bring down any ppl.
This is a lie lmao stop embarrassing yourself on the internet white boy. On the vast majority of the seasons, the majority of the songs are by black artists.
There have been a ton of rap, hip hop, and disco songs throughout the seasons which are mostly done by black people, so I don’t think this is true. Also they had a song by Ava Max this season and she is white. I do not think they are trying to make an agenda with this at all and before you try to please note that PoC is a noun and not an adjective because it comes off as saying “colored singers” instead of singers of color.
Thank you Aja for making me watch Season3 Casting episode! 💜👏🏽💜 'My Name is Vivika mugler & im in the middle of the Bronx in the middle of the projects, the middle of the night...' 💜👏🏽💜
Ru got on the same hair and make and gloves from the Christmas movie she made a cameo in, staring Jaymes Mansfield. she probably filmed both right after another. You know what, they probably filmed the movies on the drag race studio in between takes.
A lot of people on twitter have been complaining that bosco has had the same 3 parts outfit for the last 3 weeks but they don't know the runway orders... Also she was a BARISTA before she was cast on RPDR. Outfits cost a lot of money and life's hard especially during a pandemic for service workers.
So with that logic it’s a free pass for a queen to display the same outfits? We can take that into consideration, but in the end it’s still a competition that she signed up for 😭
@@SailorVenusScenes They never said it was a free pass. Bosco joins the list of drag queens pursuing their passion on the show, but have financial situations that may limit how well they do on the show because it's reflected in their wardrobe.
this is very random but, I came out to my mother as middle eastern gay boy and shit has hit the fan and my life is in shambles but watching you two treat us with the intellectual level we deserve and bringing us free laughs really helps me sleep better at night. Thank you
Angeria fully embodied the vibe of Radio and 100% deserved to win, Jorgeous was doing too much (at one point she did a cha cha like girl what???) and Camden was doing too little
Daya went home the first episode and since coming back has proven her talent and her work ethic. Jasmine and Jorgeous have not. And both of them have had to lipsynch way more times than Daya. Daya was completely justified in being upset
@@jisforjae she’s competitive. And she’s honest about it. It seems like she’s the only girl this season who isn’t subconsciously editing herself to be more likable. And she has proven how creative, determined, and talented she is.
I just saw the video where Bob has a full on mental break down about the way she looked father following Kahmora Hall’s tutorial and then she shows up looking EXACTLY like she did then and doesn’t say anything about it
