Oh, what I blessing! I’m so thankful for you sharing these experiences with God in your life. Please pray for me to find my way out of the wilderness..or perhaps I haven’t actually been in the wilderness but that God has been trying all these years “to deepen The Message” within me. Sweet Debbie! I know the Lord is with you and leading you every step of the way. Looking back, the wilderness has been some of the richest times for my soul. I love how God redeems and uses everything the enemy intended to take us out.
Your words are such a blessing. I've written five novels, two children's books, and a spiritual warfare booklet. Although I prayed and truly felt God teaching me to write, I can look back and see how it all became an idol, and something to mask the feeling of worthlessness. He's taken me through the shadow if death where I lost everything, and where He deepened our relationship. Now, He's told me to finish another book, but I can tell there are unsurrendered places that need to bow before I even think about publishing, or even promoting what I've written. Just what I needed, as I suffer the pursuit of writing a book that the Lord has put on my heart almost a decade ago. This book has been very challenging to finish editing and restructuring.
