I realized that the title of the game is supposed to have a double meaning after finishing it. At first I thought that "Spirit Of Justice" was referring to the Kurai'In law system. But it was in fact a reference to the last spirit you use in a divination seance to resolve the last case is literally the Spirit of Justice because it's the spirit of Jove Justice.
That's actually really cool as a second meaning~ I always thought it was refering to the "fighting spirit of Apollo Justice", perhaps its three meanings in one
During this year’s January, Capcom has announced that the Ace Attorney series will continue, which means they’ll release new games in the future! Who knows, maybe Gumshoe, Franziska, Iris and the ‘Investigations’ characters will finally make their grand return to the series!
maybe, but he only actually appears in 2 of the 5 cases so it can't really be considered his game alone. Besides there's already a game called apollo justice: ace attorney.
@@alexjones50 theres multiple games called phoenix wright though. Call it apollo justice: ace attorney - Spirit of Justice. It fits so well cus thats his last name too
@@Shiny_SSB well now this game falls under the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which i think is cool but man Dual Destinies does not feel like it would fit under that.
spoiling things is so stupid anyway. They are going to figure out anyway, why bother spoiling right? People need to spoil real life things more often. That's the best kind of spoiler.
He got better here than he got in his own game. Apollo justice is honestly more of Phoenix’s game than Apollo’s as the main story revolves around kristoph and Phoenix, not apollo. He’s more of an errand boy in AJ which is kinda sad. That probably why serenade and corner exist, because the main story in trump and succession is waay more about Phoenix than it is apollo and he needed his own cases
What I disliked about this pursuit theme was that everytime it played, I had to stop the game for about 30 minutes just to listen to it. Smh why is it so good :(
It's my favorite pursuit theme, largely because it really nails the pursuit aspect. While Apollo Justice's pursuit theme is really good as a track, it feels more like a resolution, while most of the time, pursuit plays in the final stretch, when you still need to make those final points to cement their case. That being said, all of Phoenix original themes will always stick with me. They're noticeably less "full" because they're more simple but they're still great.
Pursuit ~ Casting Magic is still my favourite but this is my second place for sure. It's so powerful and energetic without using the obvious methods of a loud thumping kick or bassline. It's energetic by sheer energy and sounds full by using little flourishes.
@@coolskeletondude5902casting magic is the name translated from the Japanese version, also it wouldn’t even be pursuit spellbreaker in the English translation since the name listed in the game sound test is “Cornered ~ Spell Breaker”
@@PokeTube okay first of all, you're 5 months late second of all, im pretty sure the nerd emoji's gave away that it was a joke third of all, pursuit and cornered are used interchangebly, and cornered would actually be game 1's pursuit theme🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 so like ur argument is kind of invalid but is also kind of valid but mostly invalid considering i was literally joking
I just love this game so much. The gameplay is twice as long, Apollo's character development is just on point, and the new characters are just lovable with a twist you wont expect miles away. Best AA so far imo
"Twists you won't expect miles away" If this is what you genuinely think then we need to assess your IQ because it's incredibly subpar. My attention to detail is nowhere near on-point, but every singe twist in the final trial - EVERY SINGLE ONE - is something I puzzled out before the final trial even took place. Based on what Dhurke tells you in the detention center about what happens in the tomb it's obvious that someone had to have killed him and channeled him (Though I'll admit I didn't expect that he was long dead before even entering the tomb) and from there it's easy to work backwards and find out that Nayna is Amara and Amara is still alive.
@@blackknightjack3850 your brain may be enormous but it is not the case for everyone. i was basically convinced for most of the game that the founder would be revelead to have made herself functionally immortal by having the next queen channel her during the coronation process and then keep an hold on the body until it died, at which point the next queen would channel her, etc
Love this theme. One of my favourite pursuits, though I was skeptical the first few times I heard it. You could say it really grew on me. Also, for some reason, I cannot help but picture Tahrust Inmee while listening to this music.
(SPOILERS FOR THE FINAL CASE) After finishing the game, everytime i listen to this song i just picture in my head the moment when Apollo exposes Ga'ran for having no spiritual powers and as such, having no claim to the throne
"Feh! You and the accused are certainly bound for hell!" _OBJECTION!_ "Really? Ms. Wright and I? Because I think you're the one with a ticket there for trying to convict an innocent girl." "....Nnnnggh....NNNGGGAAAAAACCCCK!"
This is a great piece. When I listen to it, it feels like someone is giving me a pep talk, like saying. "You've got a lead on. You can go through it from here!" It lifts the spirits.
Yes but no, it still has that ace attorney vibe to it but I see what you mean, this song is aggressive like GK2 BUT that's the point. In this game it's mainly apollo's insane back story aside with athena or phoenix, it's like apollo's vibe which in my opinion is aggressive but also with phoenix's being hard hitting and those two vibes basically got fused together in this song.
Yeah, but Trials and Tribulations is still amazing today, and it's better than every other Ace Attorney game that has come out. It'll be good, I'm sure, but it's gonna have to be *very* good to beat the best game in the series.
This game was the first ace attorney game that I went fully blind into... except for this theme For some reason when I listened to it it didn’t feel as strong as the other pursuit themes Boy was my mind changed when I played this game.
I believe I speak for many of us when I say, Phoenix Wright soundtracks before playing the games: 2/10 Phoenix Wright soundtracks _after_ playing the games: 11/10
@@craftboy338 The soundtracks were actually one of the main reasons I decided to get the games. Especially Objection 2001. That’s one of the best pieces of music I’ve ever heard, and definitely the greatest one in the series.
For some reason, I really like how the beginning was stretched out. It made the pursuit theme a lot more satisfying for me. Shame they never stretched it out in the game.
Not really. Every single twist in the final trial is something you can and should be able to puzzle out before the trial even takes place. All you need to do is work backwards from the obvious conclusion that Dhurke is dead and you'll find them all.
@@jotarobogard Case 3 felt kinda empty because it was a suicide, but I can understand how it would be someone's favorite case in this game. For me I think it was 2.
+pumpkin pips I read somewhere that there's gonna be a physical version of the game that will cost more, the only problem is that i don't know if it's limited, japan only or pre-ordered :/
Physical is Japan only unfortunately. The 3ds is region locked (unless you've hacked it) so it wouldn't even work if you tried it on a US/EU 3ds anyway. (Plus no English translation)

This version of Cornering Together is the only one I've heard on RU-vid so far that has the extended intro. I'm wondering which one is considered the "Official" version?
From what I can tell, the "extended intro" is actually taken from the loop of the variation. Officially (and in-game), the standard version has the 4-bar intro and loop while the variation has the 1-bar intro and 8-bar loop. I have no idea why they chose to do that, but that's the way it is.
there are two types of pursuit themes in each game, one that has the intro (standard) and one that has no intro but is a little more intense (variation)
Natemario64 I get that. My confusion is about why the repeat for the variation (which is used as the intro here for some reason) is longer than the repeat for the standard version. No other Pursuit theme has ever done that.
Who hates this game??? This game is one of my absolute favorites. The soundtrack alone is one of the best, but man, that story. My heart couldn't take it. All the more reason why the final beatdown was darn satisfying.
I don't know exactly what i don't like at all in this theme, I don't know if the instruments, or the melody that it feels very happy (although it would be ironic since my favorite is overtaken), I don't know, I do not consider it a bad theme, but the other pursuit themes overshadow it
So the Japanese title is "Cornering Together", but I wouldn't be surprised for the english version to be something different since they normally are (Overtaken is actually "Must Corner" in Japanese I think)
