Also Edgeworth given how he tooked down a smuggling ring. Then again, Phoenix orchestrated the end of the Dark Age of the Law and that was also just as bad as Ga'ran and more so than Alba.
@@dnmstarsiRight? Phoenix took down an undefeated prosecutor, a corrupt police chief, an underhanded and cruel attorney who was a member of the Bar Association, and a friggin international super-spy. Dude's resume ain't bad.
@@JustChill_1031 Thena was just starting and assisting while partially stealing the spotlight during the second game of Polly's Arc so it's understandable. She's gonna have to wait for Capcom to green light her own trilogy for her to shine hard.
"Not so fast, Edgey. I'm not the same ol' Larry you used to know. You want evidence? I've got your evidence right here! This is a photo I secretly took of the first reception!"
@@irfanhakim6171 our boy Larry got massive character development, he went to a simping unsuccessful guy to super achieving clever picture book author in less than 9 years!
+Carp I thought so too, but this hole Mr. Reus Thing doesn't really end up considering the gramarye Story in Apollo justice, he wasn't barely mentioned since this case, it's odd for me even though he was thrown out the gramarye troupe
My first impressions of your name wasn't the pun of "Politician" but rather "Paul Getshiton". I don't know if that holds any weight, but it's a tad foreboding. I suggest a name change in your future. You don't have to do it, but I suggest it.
I've been like that with pretty much every song in the series. That's how music works, it grows on you the more you listen to it, and especially in Ace Attorney since you hear the same songs play so many times.
@@RobinWings_ most of the fandom would destroy you if you still had that old opinion good you changed your opinion so you don't have to deal with those idiots
The moment that the queen demanded a lawyer i almost FUCKING SCREAMED, HOLY SHIT. Not even Alfred Von Karma's breakdown, the god of prosecutors, made me smile so much against the law itself, what an absolute final boss.
So this is basically the second trilogy of Ace Attorney: 1. Ace Attorney4 Apollo Justice 2. Ace Attorney5 Dual Destinies 3. Ace Attorney6 Spirit of Justice
@@Zoraproxi It pretty much is. These last 3 games HAVE essentially been telling the story of Apollo Justice even if they've been doing it as if he has like 3 different backstories. Phoenix and Athena are important, of course, but Phoenix hasn't had much in terms of development since AA4, and even then there wasn't much there either. His story was done in Trials and Tribulations, the only reason he's playable again is because people bitched, and Athena was fully fleshed out in Dual Destinies. She's superfluous at this point. The current games are Japan only, and take place in, like the last century. DGS is the third Ace Attorney trilogy.
@@xacmashe3852 to be honest if they make a 7th game and they're asking for my opinion, I'd say removing Phoenix would be a good move at this point, make a whole game with Athena or Apollo or preferably both. But yea Apollo basically had so many backstories that it'd be dumb to focus on him again.
I like how in this game Apollo finally steps outside Phoenix´s shadow and finds his own as a badass lawyer. Before that he was competent, but lacked the resolve Phoenix and Edgeworth have.
I think at that point, when the first season of the anime was finished, they just embraced the fact that lawyers have airbending powers. After all, 6-5 demonstrates that both sides are airbenders.
The witness was CORNERED then QUESTION and CAUGHT and OVERTAKEN the witness kept LYING COLDLY. And then because the the attorneys were WANTING TO FIND THE TRUTH they KEEP PRESSING ON and after THE GREAT PURSUIT , THE TRUTH WILL COME.
This theme feels like you've found the perfect objection, punching a giant hole in the prosecution's case. As the case unravels to reveal the truth, the prosecution throws one weak punch after another, but you deflect them with ease, up until the instant you land the finishing blow... ...and the truth comes to light.
To quote Dhurke himself, "A dragon never yields. Even when wounded, a dragon bites down hard, and never lets go till its dying breath. It glares, it roars, and it latches its jaws firmly onto its prey till the bitter end. That's what lawyers do to get to the truth!" But seriously Dhurke's death almost made me cry.
we did not even get to see his final moments (Opinion: Dhurke is not dead but someone else died in Dhurke's Place and somehow everyone knew that persons name so a Dhurke aa can come
The composer of this made the soundtrack for T&T, AAI1, AAI2, as well as Dual Destinies. He also composed some songs for Kid Icarus: Uprising for anyone that has played that (not me).
I'm surprised how many people don't like this theme. This is absolutely amazing (this is coming from a guy who has played the past games). I'm probably gonna fall in love with this in game more
they don`t like it because they didn't play the game yet. That is the only plausible explanation for me. This theme, although I always liked it, has grown really strong on me - especially because of when it is played the last time in the final case.
I've noticed something really cool with this soundtrack so far. A problem that DD's soundtrack had, while still being amazing, was that it seemed to lack the sort of "impact" that the previous beats had. I'm glad to see that this soundtrack is bringing back some of that impact.
this is super late but yeah, as someone who played thru dd for the first time recently after never playing the 3DS titles and with dgs out now with its ost, i think DD just lacked the punch in a lot of its themes
@@shiina4826 Tobehonest i loved Dual Destinies but Dual Destinies is not really about Punch or intense ... Dual Destinies ... is a lot more about sad storys and tragedys i think such a theme here might have been an overkill for that game
Look, in DD the soundtrack is used to give more of a dramatic effect, rather than the strong effects we are used. Hence, it purely feels like a Courtroom drama. Whereas in Soj, the music is used to give more of a thrilling impact and more punches, hence a pure courtroom action. Both have their own disadvantages and advantages. I love both the games' soundtracks.
......... you putrid poop you will have 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 million years of torture in hell.
This pursuit theme fits the theme of the game well, and that theme is revolution. The law in Kurain was broken and phoenix was going to make it whole again.
@@Kingcrook-yn9eh Apollo's inclusion into the revolution wasn't until in case 5. As far as any player knew, Phoenix was the only one who is heavily involved. Plus, the first time we hear the pursuit is with Phoenix, leading us to believe he would be the one.
I kinda liked it on first hearing it, but after hearing it actually in context, I love it. This theme plays at just the right moments and really hits hard when you actually get there. Well done with this theme!
The music in this series is so good. Even in the more mid games it still captures that energy and triumph as well as it did the first time. I often play this music in my head if I’m learning about a controversy online or I’m in an argument or something. I just finished the Apollo justice trilogy and I can’t wait to play the miles Edgeworth collection, just in time for my birthday.
You know what could have been better? Before showing the final evidence in Turnabout Revolution, Ga’ ran can demand the judge to give the UNLIMITED PENALTY. Which if you have played Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, you know Godot did the same thing. The Judge reluctantly orders Apollo Justice to be careful while making the claim. If Apollo fails to show that particular evidence, then the trial immediately ends and the attorneys lose the case.
After playing trough all AA so far except PW vs Layton I can safrely say that 3 best games sure are Trials and Tribunals,Miles Edgeworth: investigations 2 and Spirits of Justice.
you cant. you are plain wrong. factually excluding spin offs this is the list 1: pw:aa 2: trials and tribulations 3: justice for all SoJ would have been 3rd if it weren't for the fact that thy butchered athena and phoenix and JFA didn't have the last case.
Definetly more HYPE than Keep Pressing On. I prefer this over AA5 as this Pursuit theme just has that tense feeling of finally catching the criminal and really pursuing the truth whereas AA5 just felt more like a happy go-lucky 'Yay! We've finally gotten the criminal'
+Michał Bednarski it's pretty similar but you would think cause of the kurain kingdom it would sound more like the game released only in japan like more ancient
When the witness is CORNERED, he will keep being QUESTIONED, and eventually CAUGHT. The witness may feel OVERTAKEN, so they will start LYING COLDLY. Attorneys WANTING TO FIND THE TRUTH will KEEP PRESSING ON, and in THE GREAT TURNABOUT, attorneys will come together and CORNERING TOGETHER.
"Well it seems your eagerness to know my last name pushed you this far, however, I will not lose, for the safety of my fellow amecians and of the world, get ready, for your most challenging fight yet..." OBAMA BATTLE PHASE 1 BEGINS!
I don't know how people don't like this, it's so funky yet aggressive. It fits each of the three defense attorneys very well and sounds great too. The only part that sucks is right after the quick part where it slows down a little too much for a pursuit theme.
Kinda. As Cornered themes go IMO, it's the weakest compared to the previous 5 games as well as Investigations and GAA. Then again, maybe someone should demake this in the old soundfonts. LOL
Not a bad theme! To me, it sounds like you're racing on an intense track in a Mario Kart game. It's not a bad feeling when I listen; in fact, it feels REAL intense once you listen to it and feel the rush on a go-kart while you hear it. Believe me, I had experience.
This actually sounds like it's from Investigations-game rather than from main series and it's a good thing since Investigations has fucking awesome tracks in it
After Queen Ga'ran was exposed along with all the injustice that she enforced for 23 years, I feel like that Khura'in should be banned from participating in any worldwide Olympics for damage control until further notice.
Zvarri Velociraptor weird that I’m commenting to a three year old comment but whatever. At first when the game came out I felt the same way but now I think how’s it’s just one of my favourite pursuit themes and how it fits the game so well
