Pusha T On Grieving His Parents, Fatherhood, Marriage and His New Album  

“… I’m not lost in grief. I’m selfishly grieving” is such a poetic, and sincere manner to explain such a loss. He’s not seeking reason. He’s not seeking a why. He understands. But it still hurts irrespectively. My condolences Pusha.

From the youngest of the team to standing alone and being doubted to overcoming all the odds to now be one of the most relevant rap artist over 40+ we’ve ever seen. Never conformed, did it your way the whole way ! You’re a champion Push !

Pusha T is a legend. He’s in the perfect position unlike any other artist in history. He has brotherly relationships with two of arguably the best producers in music history being Pharrell and Kanye. What many of artists pay millions of dollars for he’s gifted because of respect and admiration. 🏆

Wow. He has me crying. It's been years since lost my mom that raised me. It still feels like yesterday. She was and still is everything to me. She means everything to me. I'm thankful for everything she taught me. She made sure I had survival skills. I'm content in knowing she is resting and no longer in pain. Her spirit surrounds my being and gives me peace and comfort. I rejoice in knowing our spirits will see each other again.

Pusha T has been the same humble artist ever. I've been rocking with him and his brother Malice since Nerds (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo). I've met him in person at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, GA while shopping with my family. He took time out to allow me to give him his flowers in the early 2000's.

As far as albums go, he’s 3/3. has not missed yet. I still can’t believe how good Daytona is.

Very insightful interview. I haven't listened to Pusha T much but, am definitely a fan now. My condolences to him and his family. I thank him for showing his vulnerability, my husband lost both of his parents with in months of one another a couple of years ago,, and he's really been struggling with their losses.

This has to be one of the best hip hop interviews I have ever seen. It's so real and heart felt. I think he really is about his art and it's not a joke for him and he is humble and real about life.

This was a great interview. We're all just humans and should look after each other regardless where we come from or what colour we are. I lost my bro to suicide at 12 yrs old. My Dad died of Cancer when I was 26 and my Mum dropped down dead when I was 32 and we weren't even talking. Life can be so cruel sometimes. I really feel Pusha's pain. It's so real to see him like this, it takes a real man to cry and don't let anyone tell you any fucking different! Bless up peeps. :)
