Finally someone with big balls to give it an honest review! After 2 month of driving this car, I can comfortably say this car is a total package of a beast. It does everything so damn well, and the 6 speed is incredibly fun. I Can’t get enough. Thank you for this video.
@@jasonrayx no regrets whatsoever. Absolute blast. Yes, the auto is more convenient, faster, and easier to live with, but I enjoy the personal involvement of a proper 6 speed. Especially in the canyons.
Finally a reviewer that didn't say how he is not into the looks (like that matters for driving performance, plus I think it looks awesome), didn't complain about the extra weight (when there is so much more power and the balance is still 50/50), didn't harp on how expensive it has gotten (like every other car company has drop their prices right? LOL). it was a beast of a car when I test drove it and that is why I ordered it on the spot with a 6-speed manual. And lets not forget this will probably be the last M car that doesn't have some type of Hybrid-drivetrain and a manual transmission.
You nailed all the points man to a T!!! Sick of stupid ppl and reviewers with no taste. This design is so elegant combining retro and modern together! They hit it out if the ballpark. I was never a fan of the last gen.. especially the back looked ugly to me. They fixed all that and more

we finally reached a point where BMW M2 not only looks like an exotic but also has a power like an exotic. you do stage 1 on this and you leave Huracans in the dust. thats crazy. i wish this car would come in long beach blue though
Excellent review, the M2 is the M4 for track days. Always will be. Easily tuned with the S58, north of 500 ponies with an ECU remapping, mpg excuses not needed

There is a 6 speed manual at the dealer that i got my 21 M340i from. This is the only way i would get this car! I will wait about 3 years and grab one, hopefully with low mileage. I know it's possible because i just got my '21 M340 with only 4200 miles on it. Fully loaded, it was $20k less than the M2. Factoring in the cost of all of those speeding tickets i would get in the M2.. and it's an easy choice... kind of 😅
I got my 2024 M2 Manual a few weeks ago and the only hesitation was the Zandfoort blue. I have to say looking at it every day in my garage waiting for warmer weather, the blue has grown on me. The 6 speed and the car in general totally knocks my socks off. Everything he is saying here I agree with. Fit and finish, quality of interior, stereo, controls etc. are all first rate and really feels like it comes from a car costing twice as much. My 4th M car with my most recent being an M4 and this little M2 blows them all away. It is a total package just begging to take anything I can throw at it. It actually drives more like the Mustang GT350 I had a few years ago vs my other M cars. The S58 engine is the key. It just has brutal acceleration especially once you hit 3rd gear for some reason. It pulls so hard in 3rd it just pins you in the very luxurious supportive seats. This car will be a true collector in the future if BMW is truly turning the M cars to hybrid. Phenomenal car.
Best drive video/review of this car - real world reaction for sure. Can't say I am on board with the looks, it just ain't a pretty car. But you, by far, are the first reviewer that actually makes me want this car. Gonna be tough ditching my F87 M2... but I got the itch for sure

@@Levente20 absolutely man the First videos were all like this but the production cost for the amount of views just didn’t match. Its sadly to costly to keep up producing that type of content for the numbers we have. I mean fuel eco test with the phone reached 60k views …
