Out of the Dozen videos of seen showing this truck off, this has been the best technique driving out of the rest. Really shows how this performs in a controlled fashion on some decent obstacles.
Definetly agree his last video completely changed my mind on this rig. All others I had watched previous just made it look overly top heavy and weak. Always learn a lot about wheel placement etc when watching this channel 💪👊🏼💯
Please do a skit with Matt’s Off-road Recovery. Let him in on the fun but keep his crew in the dark. It would be so fun to share the love of this beast with their team. Plus they would get so many laughs, which the team always needs since they work so hard. If it goes well, they may get some and you can start a mini jeep club! Just something to think about.
The scx6 is an amazing rig I'm going to get mine this Friday . I have Done all the research and I'm a big fan of the big RC trucks and this is going to work good beside my X MAXX
I think you should do some tutorial videos on RC crawling. You’re obviously very knowledgeable on the mechanics. And videos explaining that would be awesome!
I think because his 1:1 experience in crawling, this gives him a bigger benefit in picking up the right lines too. I find that with this SCX6 he talks and drives more like he is in an 1:1 situation.
Thanks guys, honestly I wouldn’t know where to start for a tutorial series. I kind of sprinkle it in each video talking about tire placement and unloading suspension to help a specific tire climb. I do have some experience in the full size but mostly with 4 wheel steer competition buggies so a Capra is really where I know what to do. Thanks for watching, I’ll think about a tutorial.
By far the best video to date that I’ve watched with the type of terrain you put the SCX6 through it’s paces of Moab like style of crawling. Thanks for taking the time to review and make this video. I think this Jeep body is just fine, it would have helped to have those stock Rubicon behemoth fenders replaced with narrow Knights custom ones!
this is awesome! not my favorite RC but im very impressed with it! Im in LOVE with where to have to wheel at. This is like RC heaven. awesome videos. subbed
Oh yeah the mountains surrounding this place are beautiful with tons of different color rock all mixed together. It’s all awesome! But really fun to drive on too haha!
I have the trx4 all stock.I have been scaling it as a overlander. I will be posting a video in a day or two. take a look at the video and let me know in the comment of your impressions!
Awesome Jeep! You drive that like a boss! It’s interesting how the crawling technique differs from our terrain and crawling in the east (Pennsylvania). Love the video man!
I bought one, but dang if many of us aren’t tired of these new jeeps. Since they have the licensing I feel they would’ve had a better reception with a scrambler or much older model. I’ll replace the body if aftermarket companies make em. Thanks for the vid.
I live in New York, we don’t have places like you have over there… I do take a trip to utah once every summer for family stuff, but I’ve never crawled at sand hallow or anything like that.
@@westdesertwheeler I'm betting over time the foams will break down and weighing 25lbs it could probably use a little sidewall support. Also if someone comes out with some aluminum beadlock wheels that would be great too. I know vitavon is in the process of making parts for this rig. I can't wait for mine to arrive. Love that you actually have a great testing area for crawlers. Awesome vids! Keep em coming!
Very nice trail!!! Awesome technique as always 👍1/6 look very realistic when crawling. It performs well too. How thick is the lexan compare to scx10.3?it doesn't look top heavy, nice 😁👍
I’m sure the body is a bit thicker but with the much larger links, and axle components the body is very light and the center of gravity is nice and low
@@aaroncarr5725 Pretty much all brushless dc motors have no volt rating within limits. As long as you keep the amps below maximum, the motor will be fine. This might mean regearing on a car. I run 6s through "4s" motors all the time. I just don't put (much) more amps through them than the manufacturers rating.
I seen it handled more on different channel..way way fast and strong as a.bull u can sit on it don't recommend it.but that's wen it caught my eyes pulled a whole.car
GOOD MORNING LOGON FROM ENGLAND SIR. HOPE YOU ARE OK BUDDY. I DO LOVE THIS TRUCK. HONESTY TO BIG FOR ME. IM VERY HAPPY WITH MY 10 SCALE SIR(MAYBE ONE DAY) . SIR IVE A QUICK QUESTION PLEASE COULD U HELP. IM BUILDING THE ELEMENT BUILDERS KIT V2 AND IM GOING TO BE USING A HOBBYWING AXE IM WONDERING WHAT SIZE KV SIR? THANKS LOGON. KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN ✌️🇬🇧🇺🇸🕊️👍
Mike, I’m doing well man I hope you are too. For the element kit 1800 - 2200 KV should work great crawling but also have some good speed with 3S especially with a non portal truck. I’d suggest something in that range. Hope that helps!
