You saw them seated at the same table as Susie & Jonathan last year as fellow nominees. I agree with you that Susie provided excellent “introduction & coverage” of the award including learning of her nomination, discussing the “mission” of the foundation, etc & covering she & Jonathan’s personal preparation such as wardrobe search & obtainment. Adam & Jane provided a nice detailed vlog of their travel to Manila from Leyte to attend the award night, & included many scenes from the event itself . I loved watching all I could about this event, the nominees & Foundation. I don’t know why exactly, but the Foundation hosts a classy event & the organizers appeal to me! Just from seeing them in last year’s vlogs. lol. No im not an Atty. lol Great mission/focus & their history/legacy….& their nominees & winners! I all ready followed Susie b4 2023 but now also am an avid follower of Anselm (KD) & Adam & Jane’s channels primarily due to being exposed to them at this event. Congrats! For me the true winner is KUMANDER DAOT coz he is roaming around entire Philippines even in the risky area or dangerous area in the remote island of mindanao like JOLO, SULU, BASILAN, SOUTH COTABATO and TAWI-TAWI. And he also vlogging in the remote island of some places of this country.

There's a naturalized Filipino, previously..foreigner always wearing head bond...is that kumander daot...he also with a fishpond business...can you research that..to shed light..of what we are discussing..because as far as I know..he is kumander daot...in the naturalizing ceremony..there's a senators and congressmen..were present in that time...and addedly, he's the first foreigner blogger was.given a Filipino citizenship..he also fluent in visayan language...anyway...thats a fact..thanks..
What an achievement for these folks. Going out of their way to show the warmth and beauty of an archipelago in the Pacific called the Philippines to the rest of the world. They came from all manners of culture and country and stamped their personal experiences to viewers like myself. It is always an experience watching your Vlogs! In my humble opinion, I consider all members of the party are not foreigners but nomads who carry the heart and soul of what a Filipino is. They were born in different directions of the compass but always managed to get their bearings sorted out and come to where their hearts and minds truly belong. Well done travelers well done.

They are so simpatico! I commented about 3 months ago , like April, in KD’s channel comment section; that I wish they cud collaborate (becoz they are both faves of mine). I think that was even b4 KD posted more recent video of traveling in CC. When he did I again commented to him, but naturally he wasn’t passing through CC anymore….They are unique, totally original styles. But they both highlight nature often, immerse themselves into Phil life, they both motorcycle & even bought new around same time! They’re both European married to gorgeous Filipino/a. 😊Anselm’s wife is lovely & interesting (Nhel), & of course Jonathan is shy tall dark & handsome.😍

Yes, KD’s smile & laughter is as they say, LIFE. Finn Snow & Kulas & Kumander Daot were all nominees in the PP Award inaugural year of 2022. There were more too, but sorry I can’t recall off top of my head. Kumander Daot won in 2022. Susie won in 2023. L&B won this year. I couldn’t find a whole video of the 2022 Award night, but saw a clip of the nominees that’s up on YT, & a video clip of KD in last year’s event, greeting the gathering as the former awardee (I think he was on location somewhere far off so couldn’t attend in person last year). I don’t think the Foundation re-nominates, there’s a fresh batch of nominees annually.

Blair and his wife brought so much joy to a lot of filipinas and filipinos growing up without knowing their father or family by finding them.. They earned it.. :) All who were there, but I am really happy for them and that they continue their work. Interesting to note: Everyone had their conversations together and had a really good time, the Lockwoods seemed to be somewhere else all the time..
Susie and Jonathan, I've been reading comments in your vlogs and I figure out that most if not all of your viewers are Filipinos. So I suggest you to vlog Tagalog instead since marunong ka namang magtagalog. It will make your channel grow faster. You can put English subtitle if you like for Hungarian to understand.

These are the bloggers who truly promote the Philippines. Unlike other foreign bloggers who came to our country intentionally roaming around the slums of Metro Manila with eagerness to show them to the world that our country is one of the poorest in the world just to earn thousands of subscribers.
I agree most of the foreign bloggers has really no deep love for the Philippines, cultures and people they just come here to prop up their channel knowing the the Philippines is number 1 user of social media. Their content is to have more subs and earn money then they will 1 day vanished.
I agree 💯! All of them are winners in my opinion just for the fact that they truly show the real beauty of the Philippines and all the best that the country has to offer! I know Susie would be very humble about it but I do believe that her vlogs is indirectly responsible for making the Hungarian government open its labor market to many Filipino workers! Since her vlog has gained popularity in both countries, the Hungarian government has been increasing their diplomatic ties with the Philippines. Susie will say that she has absolutely nothing to with it, but I disagree! What Susie has done is open a bridge of cooperation between the two countries without even knowing that she's doing it. Ask her about the Consulate that the Hungarian government opened in Cabanatuan City. why would they open one there if there are no sizable Hungarian population there at all! the only "famous" Hungarian that was there at the time was Susie! Governments do not do that unless they plan on increasing diplomatic services in that area - like visa applications for foreign workers....the only common denominator between Cabanatuan City, the Hungarian Consulate, and the Hungarian government was Susie living in that area! call me crazy but, I do not believe in coincidences, especially when it comes to government actions like that. so, Filipinos, us, owe Susie a lot of thanks for the 20K foreign worker visas that the Hungarian government have issued for Filipino workers. I am sure there are more to come. So, when I say that Susie and Jonathan should be permanent nominees and winners, I REALLY DO MEAN IT! some think I am joking but, what other vlogger managed to make a foreign government open their labor market for Filipinos other than Susie in the Philippines?
Congrats to all, I am not truly a vlogger, my RU-vid channel shows the ugly side of the biggest ocean polluting country in the world and what I am doing to try and help. Although my first 15 years of retirement in the Philippines I bicycle toured all the Visayas, most those videos are on 8mm camcorder tapes,,,yep I am that old.
I always admire these kind of people, although they’re foreigners they have pusong Pinoy! Unlike those other social media influencers na mismong Pinoy pero pusong animal? Kaya sila na ban sa coron?
The advantage being a Vlogger in the Philippines is that millions of OFW's who are living in western countries are watching the videos. Most of the viewers are Foreigners and Filipinos living abroad because the majority of local Filipinos prefer vlogs in Tagalog.... The negative side it that too many come to the Philippines and trying to make some bucks and this annoying. I like vlogs who show me places I never will visit. Komander Daot is my favorite on land and Fin Snow is my favorite under water.... The rest is basic what I have already experienced in the 30 plus years married to a Filipina and living in the Philippines.
Kumander Daot his mode is documentary. He emerge also philippine way of life. He want to try real life also.I remember his fishpond, and now hi calamansi farm.and desaster response. He can be a beautiful example.
I also watch Leah & Blair blogs especially because of what they do, reuniting families. I think they are the only vloggers doing this. They have helped a lot of people.
