In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

It would have been pretty hard to get the grapes out of the door, so going to the kitchen was probably the best solution anyway.

Only thing that comes to my mind to get the grapes out of the door (except for opening it really quick) would be some kind of suction cup motion with your mouth. Anyone has better ideas? 😄

I'm realizing how much mind games are in the phrasing of the task. By saying "put 5 grapes in the bowl" and then "most flour still on the plate..." your mind bridges the gap and you come to the conclusion that the grapes must be in the flour when it doesn't explicitly say so

John sticking his face in the flour reminded me of this game we played at a holiday program where you had two teams and two plates with jellybeans hidden under layers of squirty cream. They lined up in their respective teams and one at a time searched the whip cream for jelly beans using their mouth as quickly as possible. Team with the most jelly beans found and in the bowl won. Honestly, it was such a gross game. You were searching the cream with your mouth after someone else had just searched the same cream with their mouth.

Does the rules say that the flippers had to be on the hands? I thought the rules read you must wear the flippers but they don't state where

If they found them before the 5 minutes, they could have gotten them with their hands and put them on the table, then started the task and put the grapes in the bowl with their flippers. But that's not as entertaining

All the information was on the task. They were trying to put 5 grapes in a bowl and leaving the greatest amount of flour on a plate, whilst wearing flippers on their hands. Straightforward stuff, really.
