The beauty of Sandy is the the point gives you cover from the strong afternoon seabreeze while in the bay and reverse easterlies in the morning while on the seaside. As someone who's been going to Sandy from back in the 80s (when we lived and crayfished in Jurien) that this area is still so accessible to the public. A lot of the Dandaragan Shire Council is/was made up of ex-crayfishermen and were sympathetic to the people who lost their shacks after several nasty/fatal accidents. I personally like the area south of Sandy at Sandland Island and towards North Head. BTW, if you are going to enter the water in weeds or rock, use footwear. I had the nastiest cut on the underside of my foot at Sandy Cape, lots of stitches and time of work.
WA is unreal! I HATE saying the same as most people but it's the best state 🤣🤣 The water colour is insane.. the beach camps are beautiful! Doesn't get much better 😍😍
