Step 2 - hold the loop and collar
Step 3 - fold over your forearm
Step 4 - present your hood
(bend down if necessary)

About the Hooding Ceremony
In the traditional hooding ceremony each graduate receives an academic hood that signifies the field and the institution from which the degree was earned. The velvet identifies the field of the graduate’s degree and the blue and white satin indicates that the degree was earned at Longwood University.
