russia will. Ukraine is laying mines to cover certain approaches. They have artillary deployed mines. Likewise russia is hardening their defenses north on the road that runs east west - which likely involves mines.
Oh yeah they broke through the second defence lines and use small mechanised recon group that are heavily armed with anti air and drone weapons and tactics .
The main stream media have been ordered to call it a "full scale invasion" at every opportunity and that's what they'll do if they know what's good for their bank balances.
And I would prefer to draw your attention to the Western Elites and Kiev's Maidan Square conspiracy: February 2014 anti constitutional coup d'etat? Remember that Evil moment in history? When Kiev & Ukraine butchered thousands of their people with begged foreign Western Elite weapons? Remember this corrupt Times Radio??
How will Putin's army deal with territory where they're not allowed to shell all buildings and infrastructure out of existence before they actually put boots on the ground?
Ukrain will not hold it. The Russians probably one of the best armies in the world. The Germans could not defeat Russians in stalingrad . Then went on to capture Berlin. The Russians say the won the war.
I am russ woman, live Samara. My momma, she live Siberia! Town of Omsk. Momma, she get very MAD when Mr. putin scream _Kyiv in THREE DAYS!_ and then world laugh at our Russia. Momma very very old, she 46, nearing her golden year in russia.

I live in great Britain. Born and bred. We love Ukraine. And we will help them. They deserve to have their own country back. Russia get lost and leave Ukraine alone. One man causing all this how ridiculous he is. So weak
Ukraine doesn't need to hold this territory. If Russia wants secure borders Putin needs to negotiate. A forever-war and sanctions isn't survivable for Putin. They are running out of resources, the economy is collapsing and financial reserves running out fast. The longer they continue - the harder and longer the recovery will be.
Ukraine has open two more fronts another invasion has gone into the Belgorod region. The a third front has open up between Kursk and Belgorod with Ukrainian troops invading there as well. Putin is so upset he has removed the General Valery Gerasimov from the operations and has now put the FSB in charge of command and control. But so far they have not been able to stop the invasions. They need a lot more tanks and armored personal carriers which means they need to pull it from the Southern Ukrainian front.
The Russian economy isn't collapsing, that's just your wishful thinking. As long as Russia is backed by Chinese technology, North Korean weapons and Iranian oil wealth they'll be fine.
@@andrewkitchenukNorth Korean weapons from the Korean War were obtained from the USSR. North Korea is not advanced, and Russia is poor. Good luck with that.
@@andrewkitchenuk Really, gas exports down 90%, oil exports down and priced just over breakeven. The Battle of the Bulge was not in the context of a frozen front war. Nor was it an invasion into the invaders country that had previously not experienced the war directly. Nor was it into a country that has, for political reasons, been trying to discount the war as even being a war. There might be some superficial tactical similarities, but it is very different in both the strategic and political spheres.
This is why I hate interviews where the resource person is a media personality and not an actual general or military analyst. The two-bit opinions expressed are just off. He also said that, if the Germans had succeeded in the Battle of the Bulge, it would have completely changed the war. Nope. World War II would have dragged on for longer but the eventual outcome would have been the same. At that point, the Allies simply had that much more resources than Germany. Germany lost World War II at the Battle of Kursk (some would say Stalingrad but I believe the general consensus among historians is still Kursk). The Battle of the Bulge, if it had been successful, would have been a temporary reprieve.
@@enriquemarcella3436 > the general consensus among historians is still Kursk Yes. But. Among Western historians actually. I'd say they're not really good when it comes to Eastern front and the Red Army
This is great news for Ukraine and not 🤡Pootin, but will the Russian people ever see on the heavily regulated media in Russia see or hear the truth, 💪🇺🇦🇺🇦💪
13/08/2024 . Ukraines newest Drone "Combat Provoker" Ukraines ability to think " out the box "uses ingenuity , cunning & Physiology. Their noval inventiveness when it comes to drone warfare knows no bounds . The Combat Provoker adds an audio speaker to its lethality which persuades the sheltering Russians soldiers in the voice of a Soviet announcer Yuri Levitan from World War II persuading Russian to surrender with a promises of being treated humanly with in the International rules of war & its already shown to be working .
Not good analysis by the guest because defending Ukrainian frontlines doesn't take highly skilled soldiers. It is always the offense that requires the most skill and takes the most casualties and where you want your best troops. So they made a wise choice to invade Russia with their best teams. Already Russia is finding out they cannot pull troops from the Ukrainian front lines because Ukraine regular soldiers just take territory as quick as the Russians pull out. So trust in Ukraine they know what they're doing more than these analysts will tell you.
Actually Khrushchev won that rocket crisis big time, he forced Kennedy to withdraw those Jupiter rockets from Turkey. Exactly what the Soviets demanded from the very beginning. So that win has bought Khrushchev 2 more years in power
@@ThomasDanielsen1000 Nah, he wasn't. He forced Kennedy to back down and got exactly what the Soviets demanded from the very beginning, the entire world saw that
So everyone is referring back to the failure of the Germans in battle of the bulge when multiple German divisions broke through at the Arden forest. What they all fail to note is an estimated 85,000 iAmerican troops were killed wounded or went missing during that offensive.
Putin had twenty odd years to build an army capable of carrying out his wishes. Putin failed in this as he has failed in so much more. The head of the FSB replaced the army generals in leading the defence of Kursk one day only to be replaced in his turn by Putins ex bodygaurd the next. This, to my mind, implies disarray in the Kremlin. With Putinscex bodyguard running things the defence and re-capture of Kursk should be an operation resembling something of pure military genius. :):)
It's ridiculous to think that the Russians are able to regroup any proper forces to the Oblast Kursk ... and if yes it takes more than a month as they must load back all their equipment by train ... that's not a 1 day logistic operation...
“Embarrassment to Putin” is a very mild, kind and gentle way of saying that. The advances of Ukraine in Kursk is a huge problem on strategic, tactical and political grounds. Embarrassments one can brush away with a simple cosmetic dismissal (like removing a cockroach from the shoulders). These advances expose weaknesses that will be very hard or near impossible to overcome. Any attempt to fix the situation will require dislodging forces engaged elsewhere on the front line, making them weaker and more vulnerable. Crimea is already almost demilitarized of significant naval, air and ground forces. If it gets weaker, it will be lost.
The border is enormous and you can't send any kind of QRF force large enough to deal with 6000 boots on the ground, if those numbers are correct. Going to be interesting to see what 'proper' force the Russians will use to try and recapture this land. I'm worried that Ukraine holding Russian land may end up working in Putins favour actually, if they spin it right...
the only thing in this situation i worry about is that by invading into russia themselves that its going to unite the populace against ukraine, who lets be honest, have every right to invade them back.
they're already united against humanity. watch videos of the displaced civilians they all talk about how Putin is failing them after they supported the "SMO" since day one and how they dont understand why the Ukrainians are doing this after the Russians have been trying to save them.
I try to watch your videos carefully because you tend to say things I want to hear. I often go to sites with a pro-Russia bias for balance. So far, no one has made the Kursk invasion look like a win for Russia. Odd that.
What BS. Those Ukrainian forces are not out of the frontline. They have prepared for this for months. The tejch and wangner groups are not there and are nearly gone.
Lots of wishful thinking, reminds me of the German armys offensive at the end of WW2, the allies knew it was coming. Initially successful for the germans the battle of the bulge overextended the nazis and ultimately sped up the allies' advance and Germanys defeat. A larger front line does not benefit ukraine in any way. They're desperate, there are no fortifications in kursk and ukraine hasnt the time to build any so all this supposed gain will be gone as soon as Russia accumulates the forces it needs
The Chechens are not fierce fighters. Plus the other half of the brigade is still all over the front . Ukraine clearly had more men than they have been saying they have . Budanov said he was gathering troops in the north to stop Russian forces attacking sumi region , but instead that was the tip of the invasion force.
Great interview. Marshall communicates very well. Circumstantially, I am currently reading his book "The Future of Geography". (see behind/left of him in the video.)
Tim Marshall they are winning in the Donbass, but yet could "crumble and fail" in Russia. With more of everything than the Ukrainians. Diplomacy and warfare 2 very different disciplines. The Bulge only parallel there maybe harsh treatment but not necessarily atrocities of prisoners.
I disagree with this guy, if the Ukrainians were going against anyone else i would say it was a risk, but not the incompetent Russian's, if it were a risk by Ukraine they Would not have caught Russia totally by surprise.🙃
sadly now it looks like Russia will no longer wish to negotiate peace. The war will now escalate and its likely Odessa will be the next target or maybe even Kyiv. whatever its going to be painful for Ukraine
Yes, obviously. I have seen videos of at least three columns of russian trucks full of reinforcements that were introduced to HIMARS delivered M30A1 Airburst Fragmentation munitions. Grisly and grim but at least they are on home soil.
Russia has killed 2,000 of the 3,000 strong Ukrainian Force in a few days and maintains huge reserve Forces in Central Russia and it hasn't employed none of its Heavy Mechanized Units yet (think about that). Now look at the map Ukraine has captured many villages but they are all hamlets. Just because there is a video of a Soldier is in location doesn't mean they control it, their are 3 villages which are exits/entry's in Susha for example they are controlled by the Russians this is operational encirclement. The Kiev regime is 50km from the NPP which was there objective for the first 24/48 hours now the Russians are deeply entrenched. Ukraine is using mobile forces, and videos look like they are everywhere but they are not. This is classical US/NATO worthless text book art which after a few weeks that got Ukraine Summer Offensive disaster in Robotyne, now its being repeated inside Russia So how does the Kieve regime supply their forces 15km into Russia and then hope to go far deeper into and hold without being destroyed. No direct roads and surrounded by the Russians from all sides in every direction. It is hard for mappers to understand this but listen to analysts with a understand of disaster the Kiev forces are getting themselves in. If Zelensky thinks Kursk is going to change the position of Russia he has gotten it an answer with the Russian Government now throwing away negotiations . People need to understand Kursk , Summy, Kharkov, Beograd they are one of the same for the Russian Command now Russia proper and will become sanatory zones once Ukraine Forces have been all destroyed
Ukraine is not streching it forces as the move the invasion forces southwestalong the Ukraine border, this is part of the eastern front. The ruzzian ztroops in the Donetsk will bein the ventre of a trap and will need to northeastwards to ecape a flanking movement by Ulraine. This is an integrated deployment of Ukraine forces not a seperate action.
