I still believe three things. First, the Ukrainians didn't have the necessary technical expertise to carry off this type of mission (to destroy the Nord Stream Pipe Line). They couldn't have known about the security to the level of completing a task without Russia, the US and other EU nations figuring out what they were trying to do. Only the US (or GB with US support) could have done it. Second, if the US had sent a message telling Ukraine not to destroy the Nord Stream Pipe Line, Ukraine would not have taken a chance in losing 10s of billions of dollars in both military assistance and economic assistance. Lastly, the CIA probably planned the operation and several months prior set up false flags to be able to have passable deniability if discovered.
