It's true, Russia didn't provoke 🤕ill-crane to join NAT(Orc). It's 🤕Ill-crane's desire to join NAT(Orc) after a NAT(Orc) backed coup that motivated Russia to act in self defense!
interestingly, if you ask people in the streets of moskau or St Petersberg, they agree with putin often enough. i remember an interview that was released yesterday (although it was likely a week old), where a young student says somethign along the lines of "if ukraine is targeting civilian structures, thats not ok, and we need to respond harshly. we will however not cross that line, we will stick to military targets and remain normal"
Who cares who started the war, and why, when this could probably lead to a worldwide escalation where in the end United Kingdom will be on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, and Germany will resemble a giant ashtray. America will win the war, but will have to move their country north into Canada, and have a new Capitol built from logs somewhere in Saskatchewan.
Exactly. Putin helped Trump, so that Trump would cause civil unrest, and rot America from the inside. He wanted Trump to pull out of NATO making his invasion more likely to succeed. Instead, Russia has been invaded, Russia is in a state of civil unrest, and Russia is dying from within. Karma, is something you just don't mess with lol.
Thats not even true. There was NO threat from NATO in any way. They invaded Ukraine because they saw Ukraine abandoning soviet corruption and adopting democracy, and they knew they would lose them forever so they tried to take them by force.
@provisionalhypothesis Not to mention all the theft committed by Putin, his Generals and the Russian Oligarchs over the past 20+ years. Makes for an impoverished nation, which is plain to see.
If Putin takes over Ukraine it will bring his borders CLOSER to nato - and reminder he’s using Iranian missiles to “fight nazis” when Iran is obsessed with “ending the Zionist regime” … the whole thing is just Putin trying to attack “the west” the political posturing is just an excuse

Don't believe everything he says.if the Ukrainain's are struggling to hold the Russians from progressing inside Ukraine, how do you think they will have enough manpower and weapons to hold huge swathes of land inside Russia. All.with no air support
It is about time for the Russian military to open a back channel to work with Ukraine 🇺🇦 and agree to replace Putin and have two countries back to original boundaries. End this madness now!
Why would they open back channel . Ukraine does not have a military they just have personnel ,Only a fool would advise them to invade some forest, hamlets and villages take civilians hostage while their heavily fortified areas are being overrun. I believe these gives the Russians confidence that heir enemies are strategically naive and victory is certain
Hang on. Let's not be hasty. Why not take ten times more territory and take Ukraine's original territory back? Russia owes Ukraine a huge amount of war reparations, and clearly restrictions on trade will continue after the war for decades. Russia will not have the money for reparations, and territory could be something Ukraine would consider.
@@Ohh-Johnny-boy bloody puppets of the people, daring to stand up for their rights to peace and freedom against the odds. Would be nice if our politicians could be these sort of puppets
Russia invading Ukraine provoked Sweden and Finland to join NATO, which is exactly what Russia didnt want. So they shot themselves in the foot (literally).
yes...same thing happened after Yeltsin Russia destroyed the Chechen capital Grozny which opened the eyes of former Warschau pact countries in Eastern Europe that Russia will do Russia things, and then they applied to join Nato, even though that was not on the table until then.
@@domenicomorbidini4708 which is exactly what you're provide an ally. Do you think the Chinese are not providing Russia with anything either, in a form of intelligence? It's quality might not be nearly as good, and their assets will be too far away, but I am certain the Chinese are providing as much intelligence as they can possibly give... This does not take away from the Ukrainian decisions and audacity of those decisions
I think an important handicap of the Russian imperial dream of Putin is that Chechens and Siberian guys are running around undisciplined around frontline towns that recognise the Ukrainian boys much more as their own kind of people... I've heard allahuakhbar cries in Bakhmut, if that's what the Russians are bringing, good luck with that.
I would agree, but i am still kinda worried that they will overreach and stretch themselves thin... Then russian, conscripted meatwaves will simply overwhelm them. I mean i hope it won't happen and Syrskyj has precise plans to ensure that Ukraine Military will hold everything they managed to get so far(and more) but considering Ukranian manpower and firepower options... While they may have things like weapons and transport, they are lacking people too... And that is not the problem that will just go away on it's own. But if there is one thing people of Ukraine showed, it is that they are indomitable. What they already achieved is nothing short of miracle. I just hope that odds will be turned in Ukraine favor as much as possible. Preferably by defeating Russia altogether. But forcing Russia to return territories that belong to Ukraine would be good too.
Ukraine's occupation of Russian trench networks, railroad lines and highways undermines the logistics and cuts off the Russians fighting in Ukraine from their home territory.
Russian military: Touted as being second most powerful military in the word, only to be downgraded to second most powerful military in Ukraine and now they are downgraded once again to a status of being the second most powerful military in Russia itself...
@@soreeyez America wasn’t chased out, Russia was. And last I checked America hasn’t had over half a million casualties, only to occupy 20% of Ukraine in nearly three years of fighting. I know the buffer thing is a bit of a joke, but what Putin actually wanted (and still wants) is to expand Russian influence across Europe. Note that since Finland became a member of NATO, satellite images have shown that Russia has actually PULLED troops and equipment away from the area bordering Finland. If that hasn't shown the Putin shills and useful idiots explanations for Russia's invasion of Ukraine as a lie, I don't know what will.
We need to allow NATO forces to allow, in the North of Ukraine, to protect this border and show Belarus we will not allow them to enter the fight without repercussions.
@@davidhenry1663 its not sad. Its just that it doesnt escalates. If NATO troops will be stationized in Ukraine, Putler will go full mental. Everyone knows that Russia wouldnt stand a chance against NATO. Thats more than obvious by now

Look at the fricking map! This has been coming for over a week. First punch secured a defensible northern flank ... obviously the next punch comes in the south. Once Ukraine secures the Seym river, they have a defensible border to the north. There is NOTHING between them and Belgorod, except a lot of conscripts and reserves. @@bennyboy5374 Well, considering that Ukraine started with an estimated 6k troops. Hold an area of about 1350 km2, albeit mostly the villages. Might have took anywhere between 500 and a 1000 casualties. I don't expect there to be much more advances. An estimated 6 to 1 ratio in favour of the Russian defenders is crazy odds to attack against, even if half of them are conscripts.
Belhorod, Kyrsk - these are the new Ukrainian lands. They were always Ukrainian until the sovs put them on the wrong side of the border. Also Crimea was never Russian and never will be again. Russia will be redefined now within the old borders of the Duchy of Muscovy.
You speak truth, the 1919 borders had Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Rostov regions as part of Ukraine. The 1919 borders need to be restored as compensation for Soviet Russia's war of aggression.
If this is true it could in some way account for the recent reduction in personnel in the Irish Army, now down to 6500 people as many people have left due to poor pay, bad conditions and bullying etc. What is the situation in the UK? Are fully trained Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen leaving due to poor conditions and better opportunities elsewhere?

Kyiv in three days.... hows it going Vlad? We had 'Vlad the Impaler' who went down in history. Now we have 'Vlad the Impotent' who will go down in history for something entirely different.
I understand that the UK is suffering an economic setback back but now is NOT the time for cutting military spending and unless the people demand prioritizing Europe’s long term security it’s not going to happen. Russia is banking on the fact that we in the west have grown so self indulgent that we are no longer willing to make immediate sacrifices for our long term security. I pray that they are not correct.
I think Ukraine is trying to isolate and cut off Belgorod. It is a huge city so, no chance of occupying it but cutting off supply and transportation lines and starving Belgorod is more likely a part of the Kursk operation from the beginning.
@johnporcella2375 What he's saying is not the same as Stalingrad at all. He's talking about cutting off the routes to Belgorod and avoiding trying to take the city itself. At Stalingrad the Germans tried to take the city itself street by street, house by house, room by room and suffered immense casualties in using that tactic. That's why Ukraine doesn't use that tactic. Russian leaders on the other hand don't care about the lives of their soldiers so have used this tactic in the past and will use it again during this war. Thus the Russians are suffering immense numbers of casualties in this war and will continue to do so.
Anything Ukraine can do to put Russia on the back foot is great. I'm just not sure they can hold the territory they are taking long term. I wish them well though.
Levelling the playing field ahead of negotiations does seem like a good idea. Russia won't be able to demand it's own land back while not offering Ukrainian land back in return. It's a huge turnaround compared to early in the war when it seemed Russia held all the cards.
@@kensmith5694 I wouldn't and I thought that would be the case but then thought - 'but hey this is Starmer!' - I voted for him but I've never really been that impressed by him.
The statement that Ukraine will hold a size equal to what russia holds of Ukraine is an unwarranted exaggeration at this point. Ukraine holds maybe 1500 sq km, while russia holds 112,000 sq km, a hundred times greater. I sure do hope Ukraine can seize more than 112,000 sq km of russia, but we are currently a long long way from that. Long long way.
Not sure it has to be anywhere near equal, as Putin has more at stake in every single square centimeter of Russian territory than Ukraine…one thing that has been pointed out, is that Putin is more interested in keeping Ukrainian territory, and keeping Russian territory. In addition, he has never used his ‘red lines’ for defense of occupied Ukrainian territory. Let’s just say, he is ‘flexible’…and has to be. The is no way he walks out with 1. All occupied Ukrainian territory; 2. The $300 billion in western banks; 3. Restoration of trading relations; 4. Ukraine not being in NATO/EU. That type of ‘deal’ has nothing in it for Ukraine, or the west.
dont forget russia anticipated the invansion of ukraine was a walk over . He thought it was a weeks deal. He miss calculated and will regret the rest of his life. Ukraine is not Syria or Georgia
This Military Commentator is saying the right things BUT is not painting a clear picture of what a buffer zone means to President Zelensky and the Ukrainian Military. Ukraine’s 1991 borders were not determined by natural terrain features like rivers, lakes, seas, or mountains. Only Crimea is defined by natural terrain boundaries. It would cost Ukrainians over $100 billion to construct a barrier border on mostly flat land with Russia. Instead, Ukrainians have captured areas defined in part by the Seym River, the Psel River, and now the upper Donetsk River. These are all major easier to river and lake networks capable of thwarting Russian incursions like in 2014 in the Donbas. These rivers can be enhanced with additional defense works in key areas. Additionally, nearly all of the gaps between these major rivers have smaller tributary river and lake networks offering some natural terrain defense. These smaller less than 100K of enhanced defense lines. Together with the areas having NO rivers or lake defenses, the total mandating enhanced defense lines is about 150K. This is a more reasonable $3 billion expenditure. I would speculate any Ukrainians resettled from Russian occupied Oblasts would find Kursk relatively untouched by war. The areas occupied by Russia will need 25 years to clear of munitions and repair damaged buildings. If I were Ukrainian, if Petroske is lost, I would flatten Donetsk City, all of it. I would make it unlivable. Of course, I would tell Ukrainians who are connected to Ukraine, to move out, maybe to Melitopol.
@@cloudycolacorp I'd like to educate you but virtually every comment is censored on this ridiculous western fiction factory channel. The rabid anti-Russians are allowed to drivel without any restraint, of course.
Look at the map. If Ukraine forms a buffer zone Kursk and Belgorod, and isolates Crimea resupply ... you're halfway to pinching off supply of the less mobile/trained Russian army in Ukraine.
The buffer zone also allows Ukraine to move rockets and artillery closer to Moscow. Ukraine may not be inclined to randomly bombard civilians, but Putin has to be sweating about the possibility.
