At the moment I am watching a movie on the history of the samurai in Japan. A samurai unified Japan and ended years of civil war. But then he thought he could conquer China. But first he had to conquer Korea. He was advised not to do this. Well he failed very badly because he underestimated the Koreans and the Chinese. His ego blinded him to realty.

Not knowing what Putin's long game is what I'm most concerned about. North Korea just tested a hypersonic missile and landed it in Japanese waters. When did they leap fwd in nuclear technology to get that? Seems to me they should be concerned how much Russia is sharing with dictators around the world.
At the end of 2022 Russia had a deficit of 45 BILLION. At the end of January 2023 another 25 BILLION was added to the deficit. Russia has the biggest deficit in its history. Now more sanctions have been applied. Russia is going bankrupt. I don't think Putin can afford to fight much longer.

The long range weapons are already making a difference. In one day the Ukrainians blew up 4 different ammunition depots far away - perhaps 75 km. These new long range weapons have a range of 150 km. Will the Russians move their ammunition that far out of range? Imagine having to deliver ammunition and supplies that far away. It would really slow down them down. Meanwhile they are getting shot at by the Ukrainians and are running out of ammo. Its cheaper to supply the Ukrainians with more long range weapons and more ammunition. Gosh planes are expensive. I am sure the Ukrainians will get a lot more done now that they have long range weapons and lots of tanks.

If he had been able to conquer Ukraine then he would have been able to occupy other countries and perhaps even Europe. His army would have been so big that NATO would not be able to defeat him. His plan almost worked. If Putin wins then he will certainly occupy other countries and eventually control Europe. This is why Biden said that Ukraine will never be a victory for Putin.
Why doesn’t the media discuss the fact that Ukrainian militias conducted thousands of ceasefire violations (heavy artillery) into the DMZ between Feb 18-20 Feb 2022 in direct violation of long-standing peace treaties? In the Donetsk region alone, between the evenings of 18 and 20 February, the SMM recorded 2,158 ceasefire violations. In the previous reporting period, it recorded 591 ceasefire violations in the region. Keep supplying Ukraine, increase production of military equipment and start supplying long range missiles and drones. Demilitarization of Russia is working - 65% of Russia's tanks have been destroyed or donated to Ukraine. Russia will essentially be tankless by end of 2023.
