Lol, my yard nazi neighbor mowed her yard Wednesday, and is out mowing it again today. Can't tell the difference between the mowed and unmowed. Guess it is better than every other day like she has been known to do in the past.

My ex son-in-law did jump out of the tub upon hearing screams at the front door. Thinking his house was broken into by an intruder. He quickly grabbed the knife that was hidden under his mattress, ran down the hall, naked, and was saying what the hell is going on. And was confronted by the neighbor who was hysterically, screaming and crying that someone was trying to break into her house. My daughter. Was trying to console her. He had no idea that he forgot to put his clothes on.

I used to watch way too many scary movies about things underwater getting people when I was a kid. Have always had a problem swimming lakes that are murky. Not fond of swimming in the ocean either because of sharks, jellyfish, etc. But I am a PADI Advanced Diver. Guess I always figured if others were nearby, I'd be safe.

I am retired. I do my lawn mowing. When I feel like it. Oh and to further aggravate the sitzpinklers/Sitzpinklerin that wish they were in charge of the neighborhood. I cut it in different lengths. BY the road 2 inches. In the back where I park the truck in the grass 6 inches. Under the walnut tree where the dogs like to lay down in summer. 5 inches. Oh cut it it one mower width set at 2 inches at the edges of the driveway. I also do not plant posies any where on the property. I also don't do it in one day. But there a is reason and methods to that letting the grass grow close to house. Tall grass is cooler. No real need to run the A/C all the time. Those of you that had other things to do. Like tend to the chickens and weed the vegetable garden. Trim the brush and other country chores. While growing up. Probably feel the same about mowing grass. It is just another chore you can not out grow. I guess common sense is not that common any more. It also is why I don't mind snow. 4 wheel drive means the snow can melt. It usually does. Oh and the Trax that does not move in the snow. I tried it once. It did a good job of finding curbs. Yep always turn off the curb sniffing stable track. Every time you start it it up. Then I forget and it surprises me again. Just park that thing. Drive that truck that is 30 years old. But the wife did think the Trax was cute. Then she drove it. She also does not have time for posies.

I have heard from non-MSM sources that Putin has attempted to find a way to end the conflict but others were not interested. . . I grew up watching the evening news with the death counters from the war in Vietnam. I was a couple of years too young to be drafted and sent to fight in that war. It was an endless war that cost lives on both sides. In the end, we lost. I see a similar situation in Ukraine. Lives are being lost and there does not seem to be an end in sight.

No need to put hands on someone if they have made it that far into your home!!
