There is an agreement in place between the Russians and the Ukrainians about conducting military activities in Areas like Kurtz mainly because of their World War experience and as everyone knows they are actually the same people. The question is what or who would encourage Ukraine to start an unwinnable conflict in this area.

I have been watching Russian news for the past week. It is great watching them write articles about how they ended the Ukrainians' invasion and drove them out. Then the next day, they write about yes another town being attacked and yet again destroying those invading Ukrainian forces. There are Russians in the comments of the articles who are questioning how this is possible, and yet I am very impressed at the ones who still believe everything they are told.

True…It takes time and coordination to organize recapture efforts. Even if Ukrainian forces withdrew from Kursk tomorrow, the event is still embarrassing for Russia. Ukrainian forces also allegedly captured personnel and destroyed Russian equipment on the way in.
