As an American, I support Ukraine 100%, I agree with John on everything he said about helping Ukraine. I agree that the US has been dragging it feet on aid and equipment.
In 2014, after Russia first invaded, President Barack Obama started the European Deterrence Initiative and instantly we in the United States of America began supplying 90% of Ukraine's foreign aid for defense, security, intelligence, and military training. President Trump then used that program to extort Zelenskyy in an attempt to make Ukraine traffick a Russian disinformation campaign against the United States of America.
It’s now in The West’s interests to finish this war now by supplying the Ukrainian military with advanced gear to throw Putin’s gangsters out of Ukraine. This includes Crimea.

The Ukrainian resistance is a model of courage and determination. It’s a reminder of why bravery, duty and a willingness to defend your nation are utterly indispensable. Too many of us in the West have grown cynical about these virtues. We in the West have given up on courage. Our safety-first approach to life equates bravery with recklessness. The Ukrainian resistance reminds us why courage matters - and why we all need to rediscover this virtue. On the other hand, I look at Russia and only see the past. No future. Outstanding interview and as an American I am ashamed that Trump and Tucker Carlson are Americans. I am an American of the same age as Mr. Sweeney so I am incapable of directly helping, but I am doing everything I can to drastically increase US support for Ukraine and also to make sure Republicans do not get back into power.

As Russians are prepaired - they have to think it out properly as there is only one try I suppose. I am glad to see Storm Shadow rockets in the action already and other countries should wake up as well. Personally I think - Hungary should be taken off from European Union and mainly from NATO. This war’s affect on some of us is psychologically adverse. I for one feel as if I am going mad and acting such. I have loved ones in Ukraine and feel helpless to intervene.
I found several Ukrainian RU-vid channels, listened and now send what little money I can. Brandon Mitchell, Operator Starsky, Ukraine Matters, there are more. These people are either military forces personnel or people directly connected.
It is a horrible position to be in. you have the anxiety that the war brings, and yet you are not under direct threat of being killed. I too have loved ones in Ukraine and at the start of the war and for about 2 months, they were in such a place as they could not escape due to effectively being surrounded. But then the Russians pulled back and stole their car, so even now, options are limited for them to move. Hopefully this war will soon be resolved and you can meet up with your loved ones.

I've long viewed this conflict through the lens of an abusive relationship, as Sweeney also pointed out. Ukraine was the ex-wife that was thriving without her abusive ex-husband and faced a promising future free from him. Russia was not about to let that humiliation happen and so invaded to take back possession.
I've seen a few interviews with this guy and he is consistently a legend. He is who I want to be All the press. TRUTH. That is all. Stay safe man. Luv and Peace.
That comparison with an abusive relationship is spot on. A malignant narcissist scorched earth exit. And giving succor to the abuser is just giving it ideas how it can defend itself. It otherwise has no understanding of morality or compassion.
As a person who has been married to one for 37 yrs, I can absolutely attest to the truth of his example of an abusive relationship. They don't physically abuse, they emotionally abuse by using blackmail and threats. When the victim becomes educated and says no more, when they know you know, the malignant narcissist will not simply let you go they use scorched earth tactics to blame and shame, deflect and project. Thanks to Dr Ramani, I have learned so much and he can no longer control me. Everything they do to you they accuse you of doing and they alienate you from everyone and insure you are truly alone. It is an incidiously cruel thing to do to a disabled person but these people have no moral compass, no empathy and simply mirror human emotions to manipulate people. I don't know why our heavenly father creates such human beings but I do believe there is a day of reckoning and they will answer for their actions.

It's sad, but I'm not sure I feel for them. They could have done the same as the Ukranians did and attempt to find freedom, but instead... It's just a matter of time before all russians are working in factories for a ruble a day making chinese products while their country turns into the next failed state. Couldn't happen to a nicer people. One of the crimes in this war is the fact that it has been so painfully slow to give the Ukrainians everything they need to oust the Russians. So many lives could have been saved and so torture could have been stopped if we had been just a bit quicker to respond and dare I say, a bit braver. If Putin wins then we will all suffer - we owe a lot to our brave Ukrainian friends.
Once the Ukrainian Army gets a good beach head on the left bank of the Dnipro River, it will be the beginning of the end for the Russians in Ukraine. The Russian defeat and expulsion fro Crimea will be inevitable unless the Russians start using nuclear weapons against Ukraine, which nuclear weapon use will also inevitably also lead to the demise of Russia as a functioning nation state.
