For sure i couldn't expect Yulia to behave like this when playing Elena, i thought she will be calm because Elena is her fellow countrymate. But she behaved badly to her. Thanks Rybakina for being always calm and down although she finds tough challenges in her matches she handles her self gently.
Honestly. That was like a finals. It was super super entertaining. Sabalenka got my respect that day. I thought the match was over till the tiger inside her got wounded
I was there, and honestly did not think Elena was gonna win. First it seemed like she would lose the second set (bc, correct me if I’m wrong) she was broken. Then, the third set you summed up pretty well with her saving a match point at 5-3 by the skin of her teeth. I’m so glad she won though, she was really struggling to find her game. I only really noticed Putintseva’s antics occasionally, as I was so focused on Rybakina and Stefano Zukov 😍 I just love their dynamic. Another great video, Chris! She’s playing Sabalenka. Iga’s playing Keys. I’ll be at both 🤗
Hello🙋🏻♂️, thanks for your video and comments. I heard sometimes not-tennis-players-people saying that tennis players are a little out of mind balance. Tennis just makes visible a part of us humans that otherwise we could not see. Those who are out of tennis would behave tha same way if they were in, maybe not with the same style every of them, but we would be able to see this Yulia behaviour in a lot of cases. In a life compiting in tennis, I never smashed a raquet, but I do not say „I will never do it“ the situation could come. Yulia lost the match when she had a few mach ball. Let‘s forgive this kind of things, it could be us.
She had a 5-2 lead and talked herself right out of a win. Sure, Rybakina started playing really well but that's what champions do, it was up to Putintseva to stay with her and fight it out. It's the main reason she hasn't been rated higher than 27.
Her game is there, her mind isn't. Mental fitness is as important as physical fitness .after watching Elena interview ,puntintsova could have won easily.a really great match tho really loving tennis again
She does have that Slavic temperament . I do like her but she needs a little control she would win more often . She is an excellent player and d would win more often
@@Alpamayo84 Who told you you can write in English language?... And, Bingo!... I was right, your comment has nothing to do with tennis, but it´s all about Geopolitics in Europe... ... You are so bitter for what is going on in Ukraine that you tried to use a little tennis match to express your desperation... Also, don`t be a coward and write under your real name, don´t hide behind a false name... The Ukranians you love so much are much more brave than you...
Where is Purintseva complaining and shouting to? His own coach box? She blames them when she misses a ball or what? Rublev does the exact same thing. Blaming others.
Mama Mia....racquets abuse, body abuse, verbal abuse, and body language abuse. She makes Jimmy Connors, McEnroe and Ilie Nastase like a step below her belt. :)
@@paweldrzazga7700 OK that's good i love Russian athletes mostly in tennis, at first when i read her name putintseva i thought of her coming from Russia but when i saw her flag it showed Kazakhstan, OK now i get thanks for the information.
OMG ! Good thing this woman doesn't have any supernatural abilities like those people from the X-men movie. There would be panic in the stands. This guy wouldn't eat or drink anything he had in his hands.😂
it is today she went crazy more than other days because Elena is kazakh and she wanted to beat her to prrove to herself that she is better than Elena mind illness and envy im so happy she lost
it's too bad she is not a little more in control, cuz she's actually a very cool girl, and a good person at heart. (and also cute). but yeah - she is WAYYYY too erratic. there is no excuse for this behavior. it is just bad!
