It's far more satisfying & amazing especially the song of "I will always love you". Many people was crying listening to it as if they were seeing Whitney Houston live again.
From those first notes she's got that soul and tasty attitude already. She's got every nuance of Whitney's soul in her DNA just right off the bat. So graceful, and her charisma when she's sitting down at the piano, it feels like this is her world and we are in it. She's truly amazing. Magnificent ! 😱
Beautiful! Great job Putri. Somehow I still reminisce over Dolly Parton's ( I think it was 1972) and Linda Ronstadt's (1974) versions. Really an evergreen and classic from Dolly. In Dolly's original version, the second verse is a narration. And Whitney's version is very much an enhancement of Linda Ronstadt's version except to me Whitney's version is more commercialised. It's good for the movie and the money and perhaps the movie put the visual to the song that people could resonate with. Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Putri don't need a movie to tell their story. Whitney didn't have one thing that Putri has. Like Dolly, Putri is capable of composing her own material. She has already been doing so in her mother-tongue. Hopefully someone could help her with the English language. If someone like David Foster, Dolly Parton, Eric Carmen or Albert Hammond (who composed "One Moment in Time" for Whitney) could collaborate with Putri, she will get the Grammy that she's aiming for. Go Putri, Go!!

I have always loved this song. Many years ago when my late wife to whom I was married for over 22 years - (Yes, I know - go figure!) - was getting to the end of the road of her terminal illness - MS and manic depression - I took care of her as she devolved into quadriplegia and mental incompetence - ultimately she had to go to a nursing home where mercifully she was finally released from the prison that her body had become. But, towards the end this song and the movie came out, and I would listen to it apart from her upstairs; you have no idea how emotionally powerful it was in terms of its effect on me within that context. Dolly Parton certainly was and is a gift to us all - not only a beautiful, kind-hearted person but someone who has given so much to us over the years musically, acting and just as an example of how a truly kind person - with almost unlimited talent acts and conducts themselves when they don't let fame and adulation go to their head - Unlike a certain spoiled, brat, boss girl, who has been burning up the internet these past few weeks with her cringe worthy, nasty comments about a classic picture that she's starring in but apparently hates.

Hi , I just recently discovered Putri Ariani and was blown away by her two audition songs on AGT. The magnificent 1st which is one of his compositions and the 2nd by my idol Elton John with "Sorry seems to be the most difficult word". 🤩🤩💙❤💚 A real jewel of music that she interpreted divinely while accompanying herself in addition to the Piano, an instrument that she seems to master... In short, this 17-year-old girl seems to have an exceptional asset to shine even more and poses like a great competitor to Gabriel Henrique, of whom I am a loyal fan, for the AGT Competition. 🙏❤🙏 Personally, I think Gabriel has unique resources to gain from being the only man capable of mastering the great voices of the most iconic divas such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, Jennifer Hudson, Beyounce, Alicia Keys. ... .. ...... This Putri Ariani cover is correct but I heard it much better, especially Glennis Grace, Lara Fabian and our Brazilian Mozart of the Whistles.... 🙏❤🙏🏆💙👋👋👋 And just a little information for you, I kindly advise you to go see Gabriel's cover that Whitney Houston song "I will Always Love You" You will be shocked... Gabriel great with his whistle . But singing is not only about whistle . Whitney , Celine , Lara they are great not becaused their whistle note . Putri is on another level she knows how to out , to attempt low , high , improvisation . It's complicated to explanation . Art in art , art is about Putri it's self . If you check all Putri cover , so you might now what is singing it's all about . Great technic we can find in whole world , piet Arin also has high voice , whistle note too . But for me singer like Putri is rare . Not only caused her talents and all ability the sense of art that she has is hard to find in many singer 🙏🙏 . Sorry for this . Cakra also sung in whistle 11, 12 ,13 ,14 years ago , he also singing in high note . But hes not always do that , he only sing high note in some part of the song and not all the song turned into high note . That's why we enjoy Cakra . Gabriel great , but compete to Putri sorry Putri is on another level her maturity of art will go to Dimash level ( the greatest vocalist this decade and even Putri need long time to go this level ) . Whitney Houston is my favorite singer. I still tear up whenever I think of her. Such a beautiful soul ❤. Actually, I was on pins and needles 😮to listen to Putri sing this iconic song. I was afraid that she wouldn't be able to pull it off. You see, I heard Putri sing this song when she was still 14 years old. But clearly, she has come a long way since then. Putri nailed it perfectly. If Putri could sound this good from a cellphone recording, imagine how spectacular it would be had it been recorded with better equipment. There was an interesting story about this song. Elvis Presley loved it and wanted to sing this song, on the premise that half of the royalty of this song would go to him. Dolly turned Elvis down. She surmised that since the song was already a hit, why would she give it to Elvis? Then, the producers of "The Bodyguard" asked her if they could use the song for the movie. Dolly gave them her consent. It was rearranged by David Foster and sung by Whitney Houston. Dolly said that she was driving home when the song came over the radio. At first, she didn't realize that it was her song. When it finally hit her, she had to pull over by the side road to listen to it. She praised Whitney for doing a great job with the song. Humbly, she said that she would never be able to pull it off as Whitney did. It was a worldwide hit, and Dolly doesn't have to share the royalty of the song with anyone but herself.
It seems that Putri sang with a slower tempo as compared to Whitney's version. Putri sang beautifully while playing piano. Amazing. Dolly Parton version is more like a country song. Some people said that David Foster produced Whitney's version. I'm not sure...need to to check it. 😅. Putri will be performing her live AGT 2023 semi final on Sept the 5th. Dolly sings everything "country" style!! She can't do it any other way. I feel that Putri waits longer in the big pauses, especially before the key change.
