Putting an End to Darth Traya

i know this is obvius but Darth Trayas name comes from the word Betrayal, she was BeTRAYed and now she betrays everyone else as well. whenever i talk to kreia her voice makes me shit my pants, damn its so creepy.

@JediShemL I have to agree with you on Kreia, she is a very interesting and fascinating character. I always liked the conversations with her and always got highest influence on her. Actually, meanwhile I noticed that she can quite be compared with Palpatine: Acting as she was on the good side, manipulating everything with the force and her words from out of the shadows, following her own, very complex plans ... ;-)

Kreia dies no matter what ending you do. The problem is on the dark side is there's a Bink video that is played that Fraps won't pick up. That is why it cuts out when she appears to pass out.

It was suppose to end with you hanging like Empire Strikes Back did, but KOTOR III has yet to be approved to be made resolve the issues KOTOR II caused.

you learn it if you are a dark side prestige class (marauder, sith lord, or assassin) and you gain it when you are knocked out by Traya on dantooine

That part where Kreia is thrown in the Malachor V core isn't in the video because Fraps does not record Bink videos while playing the game.

It's one of those things that people get confused about naturally. In a strange way of looking at it, the Exile was starting over from scratch when Kreia helped him/her reconnect with the Force on Peragus. Over time the Exile became way stronger in the Force than ever before. See, back when the Exile was that Jedi who joined Revan, he/she was just an average Jedi as Vandar said. That changed when he/she lost their connection to the Force and regained it later.

forgot to say this but it's better to beat the game on the good side because Kreia tells the future for you.

I actually think she's a great character. Very original and his goals are very unique.

I liked your method of how you fought her good stuff, even i normally have it on easy or normal and i find it hard. And people already know this but I think that Kreia is Arren Kae because in story wise it makes sense cause she trained alot of well known Jedi and sith during that time, and she says she trained Revan so it makes more sense that she was, and to the fact her name suggest that she is Kae just by how both names are spelt.

The last cutscene, where Ebon Hawk left Malachor V had no sound. No music at all

Don't forget that Shem was doing over 100dmg/hit where as most of us would get lucky to hit 100dmg with a power attack lol

I know that attacking Kreia is faster. Heck, that is what I did when I first beat the game back in December of '04. I thought for the video I would defeat the lightsabers. :D

i loved how this game ended with all of the jedi turning 2 the darkside i played on light side it was such a kick in the face like wow i whouldent have seen that comeing

@craftmatic2 I didn't need the mental attributes that much when I played Dark Side...Just pick a Jedi Guardian character & choose Sith Marauder later on...with high Strength, Dexterity, & Constitution levels. I had 8 Charisma, 8 Intelligence, & either 8/10 in Wisdom when I started the game with that character. I don't remember how high the other 3 attributes were, but I managed to pull it off, even in the Darth Traya fight! That was just 1 playthrough, though, which I'll never do again.

If you follow what's going on, the Exile goes into deep space to join Revan which has nothing to do with being light or dark. So what happens with the Jedi Order after that has nothing to do with either Revan or the Exile so having them being light or dark doesn't really matter.

Bioware said they have nothing to do with the possible making of KOTOR 3. And KOTOR 3 hasn't been made, because Lucasarts is completely devoting their attention to The Force Unleashed.

@gaumet if you cant beat them...run around and heal a little bit and the lightsabers get stuck behind the arch things surrounding traya and then you can take one at a time or spam force storm

Here is the thing people need to understand how the Exile is stronger than Revan. We're talking about the events of KOTOR II here, not the time period when the Exile served under Revan during the Mandalorian Wars. Revan was stronger then. The Exile was "the wound" in the Force and over time the Exile just kept getting stronger unnaturally which did concern the Jedi Masters.

that sound at 0:01 is the spound that sith lightsabers make, im a sith lord in this game but mine doesn't make that noise, is there a way you can get lightsabers to change the sound when you ignite them?

Yeah, it is based on a character's alignment. If you had Mical on the dark side, he would have never been a Jedi Council member according to Kreia's vision.

She just explains here motivation at .14 doesn't sound like killing the force to me. It was more like ....completing the student's training. She never wanted to litterally kill the force she wanted to kill the Jedi and sith's interpretation of it and show the galaxy that people didn't need to use it as a kruch anymore. She was going to use you to show the galaxy life without the influence of the old order. If the Exile ( with Kreia's teachings) could have destroyed the sith forever.

The exile is greater in Kreia's eyes becouse he / she with all her / his power.. could cast it away and survive without the force.. Revan was overwhelmingly strong in the force.. but should he be stripped from it - he would be just a normal man.

It's hard to say with that one since it was resisted.

Well when I played through dark side i was the sith lord prestige class. with that class if u lose influnece with someone they actually turn light side alot faster than normal. Mical's had the highest light side meter cuz of all the influence i lost with him lol. anyway the point is that wen i asked kreia of his future she said he would sit on the council, just like she does if u play light side, so it doesnt matter how u play it the order will be restored

i was a grey jedi when i met traya at malachor and by destiny i looted a silver gem for my lightsaber and even found a robe for a grey jedi somewher strange huh...?too bad there are no bonuses (like +5str or +5dmg) or high influences

It was. I made it so it was a selectable head for my personal use and I also made a custom avatar and dark side transitions.

Sounds like you only have played the game on the dark side. If you play the game light side, the Ebon Hawk shows up, picks up the Exile, and flies away into space.

i liked her, but was pissed at how cheap she was in the final battle. I had to do laps around the core just to heal up and all, then i'd come back and attack. She'd use force drain like hell, so she was a pain. She was a good character though.

I've got this game and when i fight Kreia the three lightsabers are purple for me. Not blue green or red. is that the same for any1 else?

@CsRBeast: If I had used Force Speed, it would have taken a lot of the fun out of watching the video and lots of people would have complained how easy it was. Your defense does not improved with the Enhanced mod.

i vaguely remember them being resistant to it. or maybe my Wisdom modifiers just suck

i thought kreia was pretty good. But i still hated her in the ending at the fight, i was busting my ass with everything i had to kill her but she kept using death field. So i ended up running around till i was healed then i would go attack her. It took forever.

also depending on how u upgrade up weapon and how much strength u have u can do that hell my 1st character was a lower lvl and i beat this about just as fast u just have 2 no alpoints of the game

"Not to offend you or anything", but if you really knew KOTOR modding, with the animations that are resued for different types of Force powers and that a lot of the same ones are reused for even resisting Force Powers, you wouldn't have been disappointed with my answer Time go to out and learn about this stuff yourself and maybe for once you will finally learn some respect.

I'm just not a fan of the idea so I never tried them. It's just not my taste.

I know way more about KOTOR and TSL than you. I mod my game. I can do things you can't. I know the game well enough so I can do those things you can't do. There's a lot of things you're overlooking because you don't know the game as well as I do. You're mind set is an unmodded game.
