The chicken feet tongs are quite old! I have 2 that my great aunt gave me. One of mine is for sugar cubes and I use the other for small rolls. When polished, the detail on the tongs is amazing! That Mr Peanut was part of a nut set serving dishes. They were mail order in the 30's. I grew eating peanuts in them at my grandparents house.

That old silver bird in the box is a Christmas ornament ! Worth money they had clips on them to put on a tree. Mom had them , she is 96 !

Those boxes were fun to look through, find some bizarre stuff from house clearances. The dog and the gramophone was his masters voice, I did know the name of the dog but that's gone from my memory.

The measure gadge is for measuring body width for an x-ray. PICKER is the name of the X-ray company. I am a retired radiographer and used it to measure patients to set techniques for the X-rays. So fun to see again !!!😊

The record player needle is reversible. My brother in law collects old records. One side of the needle is for 45's & the other is for 78's. You really did a fantastic job on what you found!!! Love you💖!

Hi all, Massachusetts here. The Dog tags are actually old business charge plates, for customers to buy stuff on credit. And the dog and megaphone is RCA.

I have one of the old stoves that I've had since I was a little girl. I always thought it was a salesman's sample. I need to sell it, but I'm hesitant to. I love the tote full of old goodies. I'd love to rummage through that. The dog with the horn is RCA. The little silver-colored bird with black wings used to have stuff coming out from his tail that sort of looked like a fiberoptic cable, before fiber optics. He is a Christmas tree ornament. Yes, those are wicks for oil lamps. The Pet Milk is for doll houses. Great GB lunchbox!!!

When I was a kid back in the 70s, I used to make rattlesnake eggs. I used an envelope a piece 0f paper, rubber bands, and paperclips to make it! LOL!

The Dog and phonograph logo is the RCA Victor logo! Really Cool items in those boxes you got, I enjoy old pins, like hat pins, tie pins, button pins all, you can see so many different and unique pins. I loved this video, that little stove is fabulous, takes me back to my childhood until I was 5 in 1966 we lived in a rented farmhouse with no power or plumbing, my dad and grandad died while I was still a babe in the pram leaving mum to care for me and her mother. I remember mum heating those old irons to iron the clothes, doing everything by hand, scrubbing stone floors, carrying water everyday from the spring in the field across the lane, don't know how she managed.

Just to add to the comments previously, the dog with the gramophone is definitely the HMV logo - His Masters Voice. The dog was called Nipper, and the logo goes back to 1898/1899.

I loved this video so much. You reminded me of my Dad Jeremy, in the UK we have car boot sales similar to the one you're at. He used to buy boxes of used & broken clocks & bits of clocks then take them home to repair them & sell at another car boot sale. He also used to buy drawers full of bits & pieces, no chest of drawers just odd drawers. He would go through them in exactly the same way you were just now. Thanks for giving me some lovely memories of my best friend, miss you Dad. 💗

The dog with the victrola was a terrier mix named Nipper. He was the mascot for the RCA Victor Company. The company was originally The Victor Talking Machine Company.

That metal thing in the beginning is a caliper. We use is in Radiology to measure a pt. Body thickness to use the correct technique for an X-ray.

My mom has that same little stove and I would play with it when I was little. She lives in a house that is over 200 years old and has a real wood, cooking stove just like that but it is white and black. We used that stove until about the early 90’s.
