Does this work with an older lift where the end section project out and not straight down as shown in the video? Also how to attach the toggles used to secure the canopy to the frame? They do not seem to fit without possibly drilling additional holes to secure. Thanks for any suggestions you may have. Ann and John
Didn't have caps available at the time so we wrapped the ends with heavy gauge plastic, then sealed with duct tape. The black you see is a piece of rubber mat to help protect against punctures. Thanks for your inquire.
I'm going to be making this for my 96" lift this weekend. I have access to 4" and 6" PVC pipe so since the lift is smaller I'm hoping that will be enough buoyancy for my small (aluminum Hewitt Roll A Dock) lift. I'd be very interested in the details of that...even it's own youtube vid. What is the gauge of the plastic (4 mil poly?) ? how do you prevent from blowing a hole in the plastic from the pressure when the pipe is underwater?
