my favourite videos are ones where people colour correct their hair using colour theory because they’re always convinced the entire time it’s gonna be a disaster and then it always turns out so good LOL. this colour is beautiful!

Yup 100% I remember trying to cancel out red undertones, plus she wanted darker hair so I used a blue based color. The outcome looked great, but she still had unwanted red tones. I know color theory very well, as an artist and hairstylist, but green bases always freaked me out! Like envisioning a swamp mud green, but wow, it was such a difference just a cool tone and undertones with NO green whatsoever in all lighting. So just trust the process but maybe still cross your fingers (just in case) 😂

a tip for anyone trying this method: take a picture of your hair and 100% make it grayscale and take a picture of your complimentary colored toner and also make it grayscale. if the tone of gray is the same/similar, then the depth is the same and you will most likely succeed in canceling out the colors since they have the same value. i did this with trying to cancel red/orange from my dyed brown hair with green added to a level 5 toner and it worked wonders! if the values don't match up, the color with the higher value will end up dominating the final result

That's a nice thing of you to say but she's wearing green lenses most of the time. Her Natur eyes are a deep beautifully stunning brown but she once stated that everyone in her family besides her has green eyes and that she just loves green eyes so much. I think it was the ttdeye lense videos, of you're curious about the pretty intense green lenses (or aislinns natural color). Absolutely no hate here btw and I agree, the colour suits nicely.

I bet if you really wanted to get rid of the remaining green you could go in with a pinky/rose tone. It looks AMAZING though, this technique/ color theory really are the best.

I love playing with Color Theory. I've successfully canceled out blue with orange before, which leaves this lovely beige blonde with a hint of strawberry. Another thing I do when I want to get platinum instead is shift the blue to barely purple with a light lavender mixture. From the light purple it should fade out to platinum.

Wow this is just amazing. I have Lime Crime Pony blue in my hair right now. Yep I'm 60. I had fun and I'm really proud that I did it I have three different shades of blue and like four different shades of purple and my hair looks beautiful but I'm just tired of it. I thought kind of reddish orange dye from Amazon and then I'm going to do olaplex on it and then finally do some Brown dye on it close to my natural shade. This turned out so good on you!

I'm so glad I found this video - I just did my hair from a salon and ended up with some blueish tinted highlights and my hair is an overall ashy brown colour, I read somewhere that to cancel the blue tone I'd have to use orange....made me scared to try it but after watching your video it gives me hope! The results look amazing! 😍 will be trying this soon!

I toned out my blue with Brad Mondo’s Super Orange and it actually worked fairly well. I just have the smallest amount of green/blue left near my roots where my hair is the healthiest. Gotta love color theory 🖤

The time I had intense blue staining from Blue Ruin from GDY, I tried EVERYTHING. Removers, going over it with orange, etc. I even tried bleaching over it and it did nothing. I gave up and decided to just dye my hair back to brown with box dye, and that dye RIPPED out that blue in seconds. It shocked me lol

This video just made my LIFE I have an aqua blue I can't get out and I literally bought color charm paints blood orange to mix up a toner two days ago my only worry I like being cool toned in my hair but I figur I should be able to figure it out since I was spot on with my remedy
