The explorer is coming together nicely. Should be just about finished in the next video. I hate those radiator hose clamps. I had to replace the bottom radiator hose on our Daihatsu Charade and it took me half an hour to get the clamp off, due to the inaccessibility and lack of room to move. I wasn't going to try putting that clamp back on again, so I replaced it with a regular worm-drive hose clamp and it made the replacement so much easier. Used car prices here in Australia have increased dramatically due to people not wanting to use public transport, with not enough used cars available and too many buyers. I wonder if it's the same over there. Looking forward to your next video. All the best from Queensland Australia.

Vehcor, I had to replace the Spring loaded clamps when I had to replace the radiator on my 2006 GMC Sierra with screw type clamps of Lowe’s. I use channel locks to remove the Spring loaded clamps.

Oh man, when you replaced the hood cable and attached the new one to the old one to pull through its spots made me feel so stupid. I am thinking of the time wasted fighting and running new hood cables and why I didn't think of that. I feel so stupid. Ugh thanks for that top tip of the day.

That cable trick was clever. Lucky my hood cable wasn’t damaged so I didn’t need to do it. But it will be helpful in the future.

You know... This has to be a great sales tool. I would genuinely consider buying your rebuilds considering the entire process is documented in moving Technicolor. Also, regarding PPV explorers and door dings, yes. Universal. I work on some police fleet units and every single one of them is megadinged. Half of them from officers whacking their duty belts into them and half from the citizenry.

I changed the AC actuator in my Lincoln MKX. Next time that seat is coming out. ,and it's not just GM with those stupid carpet liners. My Mustang has them in the back.

It's funny, I was always taught to take the keys out and put them in my toolbox or under the floor mat to keep anyone from coming along and starting it. But now with keyless push button start I have to change my ways...

Yeah, cop cars are a little different. I imagine (also) that if your Explorer is a Limited, you might have to swap the guts from it, so the window switch, speakers, etc. are correct. Enjoying the channel...keep it up.

This is the first time I have seen you fix a crunched front end when you did not have to remove the engine, transmission, and subframe, and of course, the dash. all of these are scary prospects for me to mess with.

I was told that those spring clamps put a more even pressure all around especially important with the plastic hose ends.

Hose clips, wire them or cable tie in the open position when you remove them, then slide them over and cut once it's in place.

I like your torque wrench :)) (I think even without color code you could not put the camshaft sensors wrong since the connection would face down )

really wish Ford had started using those Wheel Opening Moldings before they did. I have 2010 Ford Edge and that area is rust filled because it has no protection from rocks being kicked up at it.
