Love it! I guess the marker would be useful for alignment on a plain mat, or even a practice green (my club don’t take kindly to me paining lines on the grass!)
Got mine ordered and should arrive today - can't wait to start using them through the winter to help get a better understanding of my putting stroke. I'd say through the past year I've dropped around 3 shots a round missing short 5-6 foot putts. Here's to a winter of grafting and putting the work in. Another great video thanks!
Just got one of these and love it (/hate it at the same time 😅) - they included a note to say the marker is to practice upward angle of attack and promote top spin
This is absolutely cool. I have the Puttout and the mat. I might have to look into this. Their original Puttout was really helpful to me with starting to dial in speed control.
I’ve used the PuttOut for years as it really is one of the best training aids - But, I really don’t see the point of the ‘devil’ 1. Popping a couple of hair bands on a putter trains off centre hits. 2. A couple of golf ball boxes either side of the ball sorts out path and 3, if you don’t know which side you tend to miss would suggest an inconsistent stroke in which case the devil won’t help much? Plus most golfers don’t know how to aim correctly which is the root cause of the majority of swing faults as the brain has to factor in all sorts of compensations in an effort to get the ball on target. Just my opinion.
FYI to Canadians from their website: We are sorry about the high shipping fees you will see at checkout. At present, all orders to Canada ship from the UK and our shipping fee is inclusive of all tax, duty and import charges. There is nothing extra for you to pay when your order arrives in Canada. From early 2023 we will begin storing inventory within Canada and will be able to offer much lower fees! $50 for the product and another $55 to ship. LOL. I'll wait. No early Christmas present here. At least they recognize it and warn you.
Ordered already 😂 30% off other products as Black Friday deal…so got a slim mat and mirror too (already had the putt out). Cool innovative company trying to help us golfers get better👌
Looks like a fantastic and frustrating training aid! Great review Coach and glad you mentioned how it feels as well. As a Canadian I’m always looking for things to do in the winter to get ready for golf in the spring. As the first comment mentioned I’ll wait for that shipping cost to come down though 😃.
Hey Tyler , not sure if you've boughten yet . I live in Edmonton, AB and just bought mine through the Amazon USA site vs Amazon Canada . Was $22.00 cheaper . Paid $53.00 CAD all in vs $77.00 . Still a bit pricey but thought i'd start practicing now during the cold winter months.
@@leonardjacobs3334 Thanks for the info. I had forgotten about looking into it since I wrote that but I still get ads popping up for it! Hope it’s good!
I'm sure putt out must know and have sorted out any copywrite issues but i have (somewhere in my 3 tons of golf junk gadgets) a golf ball that is VERY similar and for the exact same purpose. I cannot remember the name of it and I don't know where my wife found it from but it is somewhere in my house. It obviously had a different name but is extremely similar and i quite quickly got bored with it as I'm pretty good at putting and holing putt after putt just snzzzzzzzz
Wouldn't the ball marker force you to lift your putter up so that the benefits of striking the ball at the equator appear? Not unlike examing the benefits of a driver hit from the rest position behind the ball versus hovering.
Just ordered mine after your video, you should get royalties Coach, especially since I bought the pressure trainer and mat after you and Parfield endorsed them.
I tried purchasing this when it came out. It was only avaible in UK. Unless you pay 50$ shipping for North America. Hoping north America suppliers get orders in before Christmas.
Nice idea, however, do you think it is realistic that you can line the ball up with a couple of degrees. If you eyes bias the alignment slightly you will be thinking it’s face control, but you stroke could be perfect and it’s the ball causing the error
Good in theory but because it needs to be lined up so accurately, I can see people giving up as it will be so time consuming once you line it up perfectly and then go retrieve it. Average 90 seconds for every putt and that’s roughly 30 putts in every hour of practice. Just don’t know if the average golfer has the patience to persevere
At the risk of another ridiculous ‘scam telegram’ message from the scammers that blight RU-vid, I’m definitely going to get them for Xmas - reckon it’ll drive me nuts but great winter training I hope!
