@@denieladam2046 It's called the "Nordic". most flaggers (at least only across Europe like Sweden, Norway, etc.) using the same cross symbols as for presentation, but with different colors.
It's hard to really say which one is better, since both of them perfectly capture the tones they were going for, with Puyo Puyo's mystical fantasy feel and Mean Bean Machine's grittier and punkier mood. Ultimately, I'll probably say Puyo Puyo since the songs in the final version of Mean Bean Machine unfortunately have parts that are just entirely missing (see Brave Of Puyo Puyo VS Stage 13 Intro) but they're both awesome and it's hard to say
You could probably load up the song in a program like Deflemask and manually replace the instruments with the MBM versions. If I owned Deflemask I would definitely try that out, would probably sound pretty awesome.
@@EpicFurbynerd76YO I actually own a legitimate copy of Deflemask now lol. It’s surprisingly hard to do this though, as there’s no real way to just drag and drop a Genesis music file like VGM or VGZ. There’s *technically* some workarounds you can do, like using a VGM to midi converter and then running that midi through a midi to DMF, but the latter of the two seems to no longer be available, and even that that would leave you without any instruments forcing you to aquifer them through other means. To add to this, I’m using the iOS version! Which makes things much harder because both converters are only available on PC. TLDR: I own Deflemask, can’t really do what I said though
I still thinking that Sticker's original version its undefeatable. Any remix of the song has the same vibrant and marvelous feeling which this part has: 9:06. It's amazing.
I would probably agree if not for the drums and bass of the MBM version. The drums are self explanatory, and I love how the bass bends up to the higher note in the main melody, it just makes the song sound so bouncy! Sticker of Puyo Puyo with Exercise Mode’s drum samples and bass would absolutely be the definitive version, no doubt.
Mean Bean Machine has the better drums, but I choose the Puyo Puyo versions overall because most of the Mean Bean Machine versions are missing parts from the original Puyo Puyo versions of the songs!😄🤩😎👌
Well they're not really missing (although unused songs are shown above), but they're just had to rejacked into some other different tracks that can be lot of easier fit there for Mean Bean Machine over Puyo Puyo game.
Though both soundtracks are good, it's just a shame that the Mean Bean Machine tracks miss out parts of the original songs or accidentally hit the wrong note
I don't think either Both of them, they were just completely change it since DRMBM was an westernized version compared to the original Puzzle game (with different characters based off RPG/Dungeon series nobody even has ever played of.)
Kind of a 50/50 for me. Some tracks like theme of Puyo Puyo and final of Puyo Puyo were better in the original but the ending theme and stage 13 intro for example were better in MBM. My opinion.
Overall I feel like Mean Bean Machine is a more refined version of Puyo Puyo in terms of soundtrack. I still have to give credit to the original for having a pretty good ost too.
I'll be thought the remix version was such a pain-in-the-ass concepts, let alone bringing to America for Dr. Robotnik game. Shame they wouldn't even want to release version of Puyo Puyo for Genesis/Mega Drive instead (The Arcade Version doesn't count, since the characters has their names been changed)
everyone is saying the mean beans better because there nistolgic for it but mean bean does have bangers tho but puyo puyo is the diffinetive version in my opinion
2:01 - 5:57 Can you please compare this BGM track with the same BGM track for 404 GAME RE:SET/エラーゲームリセット/ERROR GAME RESET? Thank you. 11:50 - 15:10 Also, can you please compare this BGM track with the same BGM track for 404 GAME RE:SET/エラーゲームリセット/ERROR GAME RESET? Thank you.
Aw, Come on, This game wasn't even that bad or "Crap" as what you described, you should Try it first one before commenting your entire opinion. I love both of these puzzle games (much Like Tetris).
puyo puyo is an onomatopoeia for watery, soft, and flexible. and the little jelly dudes are watery and soft they barely resemble beans and puyo pop came out first also its the same fucking game you retard but with an eggman skin
You are the reason it got ported as Dr Robotniks Mean Bean Machine in the west. Puyo Puyo doesn't resonate with the average non-japanese 90s gamer. People wanted sonic and mario
