I hate to just repeat what everyone else is saying, but my goodness... This looks so fricking COOL! EVERYTHING from just like little physics details like how Ocean Prince's Crown just plonks off of him when he's de-boned to just how BOUNCY Ecolo is just adding so much more to his fun expressiveness AND THE WAY THAT HE LAUGHS TOO IN HIS VICTORY POSE. The amount of soul put into the animations really shows, and it is just so freaking charming! Honestly those little touches make them feel so much more dynamic than what Sega has been putting out lately. sidenote: -i can't help but notice the "?" on Ecolo's board is reversed on P2's side though, sorry to be an annoying frick- , but it's also so fricking cool that you're also drawing assets from the hecking fan too!
Oh oops. nice catch. I had to do some weird hacks to the way the game pulls the fields per character and i suppose i forgot to give ecolo a second field for the question mark lol Also thank you! I'm glad the details don't go unnoticed haha

I don’t mind the additions of Valkyrie Arle & Dapper Bones, but I wonder if some more villain characters (like Popoi last showcase) are in the works, more specifically Doppelgängers Arle & Schezo. I mean, outside of Quest, they haven’t appeared in a game entry within the series since BOX. And even then, Doppelganger Arle has only had a Drama CD appearance to her name since then.

bro sega needs to fucking hire you to release this as anniversary title...also erm I don't know if you could do OCs but eh I'll pitch my character Idea anyway basic premise for my character (Zach) is that he's a new student in the primp magic school although he's a bit lacking in terms of proper motivation he still tries his hardest and barely passes he's good friends with Amitie and Sig often asks for help from Klug and is mostly neutral towards Raffina but he mostly finds inspiriation from Lidelle (I know i'm shoving a bit of my naruto bias just bear with me on this) whenever he feels down she often cheers him up and he doesn't judge her (I have no idea how old she is so i'm not gonna dive further although I think it's safe to assume they're around like junior-high school age) anyway his spells I based off of the attacks of YGO protagonist ace monsters 1-chain:Yosha!!! 2-chain:Ikuzo!!! 3-chain:Dark Burning!!! 4-chain:Cosmo Crush!!!! 5-chain:Cosmic Flare!!! 6-chain:Rising Sun Slash!!!! 7+-chain:Spiral Flame Strike!!!! Counter:Magic Cylinder!!! my cringe shit aside this is good
as in, make it identical to the 3ds version and the modern games, where the chain sound effects correspond to the chain itself up to 7, rather than 6 for these versions
