Aris build this cockpit for me and it is pure bliss, I can now comfortable race for hours with no back pains. There are multiple adjustments that can be made to fit most sizes and drive from GT position to F1 position and everything in between all with easy to loosen and tighten clamps. Aris also added an adjustable keyboard holder as well as a handy mouse surface. I am using a triple monitor setup with three 27" monitors on a desk and the front part of the cockpit slides underneath the desk to have the monitors as close as possible for better field of view. Highly recommended !!!
These are the most advanced and genuine designs on the internet. Adjustable and modular... This is pro grade, a different level.... Thank you for taking the time and sharing... Best regards from Turkey...
Hi Aris, Thank you very much for designing this and then being kind enough to publish your designs. You've saved me a lot of work and heartache. I'm making controls for a helicopter in VR and this is ideal for me. I have also wanted to make a unit just like this, so I could add a steering wheel and pedals/shifter for a driving sim - when I wanted to. Thank you very much, you've done a fantastic job! Craig, UK
dear simracers, if you are thinking of building one of these rigs. please contact him, I recently contacted him for blue prints he got back with me the next day! and let me tell you i was so surprised on how well the prints was designed. I been working construction for most of my life, I have seen some well designed Construction drawings and blue prints. these blown them away, they are well explained on what parts to use sizes, numbered and color coded, and show it connected with it color coded. He also put the prints separate parts so it is easy to put all together, then connect the different parts of the rig together.
Δες και κάτι που σχεδίασα για fpv: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/home/cockpits/flight-simulator
You just earned yourself a subcriber, keep up the genius works dude!! Oh and do you have any design for flying cockpit? I would love to build one for flying games with hotas. I am thinking of turn it into a workstation with keyboard and mouse and a drawing tablet :)
Minh Nguyễn thank you! I wasn't yet interested in flying simulators - maybe in the future... As for the buttkicker - it shouldn't be a problem - the all pipe system is closed so it doesn't works like a sound amplifier.
Good day !!! I was impressed with this guy cockpit model, I wonder if you would provide somehow his measurements so I can build for myself, I will be eternally grateful.
Awesome!!! I already started my rig, but maybe I rebuild like yours. I am not so lucky, because I just have 60 cm free space for width. I planned a flat top for a monitor and a small rack for the xbox one with a side stand. I just bought a Thrustmaster TMX, but the future plan is to change everything to a TX pro set with shifter. How can we get the measurements and the plan?
WOW, these seems to be an awesome copkit. I am trying sim racing right now and I like it, so I may try this copkit if I find the place. there I have a question, in the photos, I can't figure out what those small pieces of 15mm length (the pink ones) are, and for what they are used, so if u can help me with that it will be awesome
+Diego Corta (Diegocorta) Hello Diego, I do explain in the notes: "Use the rings that will be left over after you cut the tees to transform to sliding ones - in the third part of the construction" but I understand that explaining this with words is not easy. This rings will help to keep in place U-shaped clamps that hold the wheel desk. In Greece we say one photo worth's more than thousand words so I give you 4 photo instead of 4.000 words :) www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=845827PVCSeatStand45G2527simplifiedexp1.jpg www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=636008PVCSeatStand45G2527simplifiedexp2.jpg www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=319688PVCSeatStand45G2527simplifiedexp3.jpg www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=746943PVCSeatStand45G2527simplifiedexp4.jpg Have fun and good luck with your construction and don't hesitate to ask about any problem you find!
Hey there. Started sim racing recently. Your design looks flawless. I would like to know if it's still possible to get these plans or measurements from you.
Hi Shaun, yes of course! I sell a detailed construction guide for this model. Here is the model's webpage for more information: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/polymorphic/pvc-seatstand-45

Very strange, the link above is working! Anyway, here you are: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/home/cockpits/seat-stand/pvc-seatstand-45/PVC_45_Construction%20Guide.pdf?attredirects=0&d=1
Hi amigo! Unfortunately I don't understand "en los enlaces que compartiste no deja" what do you mean? Please try to say it in other words - Google Translate didn't helped me.
I'm sorry what I try to say is ... good afternoon friend, I'm interested in making this model but in the links you shared is not enabled, I congratulate you is very cool this design, thank you for your attention, have a good evening.
+Icelandish Iceburgs Hello, I cheked the link (ru-vid.com?q=https%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2Fsite%2Fpvccockpitsimracing%2Fhome%2Fcockpits%2Fseat-stand%2FPVC_SeatStand_45_G25-27_simplified.zip%3Fattredirects%3D0%26d%3D1&redir_token=NUSNVRr_MLE3j0jtLqH9RPtYiWV8MTQ0NzIyNzgyNEAxNDQ3MTQxNDI0) and is working! But don't worry, send me your email here: teidisaris@gmail.com and I'll send you the files by mail.
thanks! I was on an IOS device before and it was not working but I downloaded it now to my PC and now it works just fine! I Cant wait to build this awesome cockpit (:
+Icelandish Iceburgs Any car seat (on rails) will do. I have an old (used) one from an automobile junkyard for 50€. Keep in mind that you need to find the specific type of PVC joints and tubes that I use for the design and also have a look at this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NRDbxeDTSw4.html (there are subtitles) video to learn how to make the T shape joints to slide on the tube.
I'm really sad to hear this, but if you think my designs don't worth a tip for a coffee I think you don't really need this... If you really want this but you can't afford a 3$ donation send me a note at my email and I'll send you the plans.
I am planing on building this but with the half of the seat part resting on a bed, so i would need to build an structure or base so I place it below the rest of the cockpit it so it gets to rest in the ground, do you think it would work?
I'm really liking the look of this design. I'm thinking of building one for my channel. I just don't know if it will fit into my desk area. What is the width? And are plans still available?
Awesome cockpit!!! I would like to build it but the link to the photo instructions does not work. Could you repair the link. Regards and thank you for sharing.
+Carlos Hernansanz Esteban Yes I have to fix this! Send me your email address to teidisaris@gmail.com so I can send you the files to help you build it.
It's a very nice project, congratulations. Have you build it? I might give it a try. Can you share this design? I have a question about the moving parts for chair mount (0:33). What are they? Can you share any link with example? How they are fixed in place after regulation?
+Szymon Jakubiak Hello, Some people have already build it (look here: www.thelab.gr/topic/143719-pvc-cockpit-for-simracing/?p=2196413 and here: www.thelab.gr/topic/143719-pvc-cockpit-for-simracing/?p=2442807) Download photo instructions to build this cockpit here: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/home/cockpits/seat-stand/PVC_SeatStand_45_G25-27_simplified.zip?attredirects=0&d=1 The moving parts are normal T PVC joints that I cut to make them slide on tubes. Watch my video here:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NRDbxeDTSw4.html where i explain all this. I had embedded there subtitles in English. If they don't appear let me know.
