Been following PVRIS since the beginning. I don't understand why they aren't mainstream, but at the same time, I think being indie, gives them more room to be themselves. OMG I just love them. Buying #3, and can't wait for the release

They literally are mainstream, they tour with Ariana Grande and get played on the radio lol. This band hasnt been "indie" since like 2012 lol.

Tbh, i found this band on spotify and i put it on my playlist on amazon music because I liked the chorus. But then i really sat down and listened to the song lyrics and it described my current relationship to a tee and broke down crying. The song is giving me strength to go through everything and I'm glad that i listened to the song.

I love the music, the beat, the imagery. I also realize at the core is someone with NPD basically saying they can't love, can't feel, and confused by thinking all they do is give when their script is flipped. Like if I'm being honest, ripped wings off a goddess, just using people no looking back no double takes. Its like if someone with no empathy made killer music, this would be it. Dead weight people on my shoulder, I'm getting colder, its riddled with it, snake tongue, black eyes, peeling layers off someone they can only love when they feel like it, etc. Deep NPD lyrics.

Well, I guess that we all evolve. But you're right, I still can't help but thinking about thelr White Noise and AWKOHAWNOH eras and how their dark echoed so much somewhere inside myself.
