Hi, i have some new plant ideas for the better expansion mod for world 7 and also try to tell samen these plant ideas if you can so let's go: So the plants are: 7-1: Fire peashooter (Does the double damage of the normal peashooter) and it costs about 175 and it has the same feauture as pepper pult as well, and also it has an upgrade (plasma pea) which samen mentioned and it is like a gatling pea but warms up the plants near it and does the triple damage of a peashooter! Making it cost 275 sun at least. Also in 7-2: You get the explode-o-nut which is a plant in wallnut bowling in level 1-5 and when the zombies finish eating it, it explodes in a 3x3 area like a cherry bomb,then we reach level 7-3 you get: Bonk choy and you might know what he does so i will not mention what he does but i will say his cost anyway and it's 150 then in level 7-4 you finally get thyme warp which is used when zombies are near to your house then use it and it brings back zombies back to the beginning but it heals the zombies within bringing zombies to the beginning and it costs only 100 sun but very slow recharge! Also in 7-5 we get column like you see e'm minigame or something like that then in 7-6 you get chili pepper which is from pvz 2 and you put him in the video in the minigame so be sure to tell samen to put it in 7-6 as well :) also his cost must be 175 then in level 7-7 you get snap dragon which is kinda like threepeater but it has a short range but however it does double the damage and it costs only 200 sun and it's kinda aoe! And also it has an upgrade and it's cold snap dragon which costs in the shop about 7500$ money and costs about 225 sun and it slows down zombies! Also you get in 7-8 goldbloom which gives you many sun and it must cost 50 sun in your mod and very slow recharge (because it's very busted because it gives so much sun about like 300) also it costs about 0 sun in pvz 2 so it should be 50 sun in samen's mod so it doesn't become so overpowered :) And finally in 7-9 you get bowling bulb which costs 250 sun and it has 3 bulbs or things like that and it does like walnuts in walnut bowling and it has like a 15 second cooldown to recharge a new bulb and also does heavy damage! Also tell samen to decrease doom shroom's cost to 200 sun because it is so much expensive because it costs 275 sun. And also tell him to do some bug fixes and make the game as much balanced as possible!
Holy shit. This might be THE premier PvZ mod. I've never modded the game before and so have no idea how to go about it, but this just might become something essential I can't play without. Thank you so much to the team behind its creation, including you, and thank you for sharing! I look forward to future updates with great interest!
that's what I'm saying as well! Stone nut and that weird lillypad wave thrasher would also be interesting (the king flower that let you put two plants on one tile would be absolutely amazing to see but I doubt it'd be realistically pheasable to code/mod into the game)
By far the biggest PvZ 1 Mod ever, new plants and even a second page opens up a lot of possibilities of some fanmade plants or plants from different games to be added (I'm coping for Asparagus from PvZ Adventure :) ). Sure it needs some balancing but considering how big the mod is and how much the content is in this mod, I don't mind the balancing to be honest. It also opens up possibilities for adventure mode as well, I hope future worlds can have hybrid stages, or stages like Unsodded or from PvZ JTTW.
I love the idea of the Gladiantuar! However, for the power he is ment to have, a magnetshroom to be able to counter almost all his design and can take other metalic items after is very strong imo. I feel it should be because of the size of the gladiator helmet it should take out the magnetshroom and make it a one time use against the Gladiantuar. Almost like an instant kill plant but as an instant suppor plant instead. This way, it still counters the Gladiantuar but means thats it and can't steal from zombies after aswell. Either way, it's an amazing mod for the game!!
Idk if you have watched the fake pvz2 trailer back in 2011, but water pot was in there, and it's called flower basin, so every time I see this thing I call it flower basin (and to some extent pepper pult too, but that's another melon pult upgrade called summer melon)
For years I had the dream of somehow making a PVZ expansion with a whole new adventure mode campaign, basically doubling the lenght of the game, with new plants, zombies, minigames, puzzles, and mechanics, the only difference is that I planned on recreating PVZ from scratch to make the addition of new content easier, that is still a dream I have but game development is hard as fuck, but THIS MOD, IS TURNING THAT DREAM INTO REALITY!
I mean there KINDA is with the mega chomper upgrade plant. But it's still pretty unusable. Wish there woulda been a proper buff on chomper to make it viable
We live in the timeline where there's so much clickbait PvZ content that one has to put "NOT CLICKBAIT" in the title of any non-vanilla PvZ content and there's still a significant subset of people who will assume it's clickbait.

I like the idea of Lillypad producing water when not sitting on water to keep it relevant past the pool levels, although might make Cattail hard to code
Suggestion: have gatling pea and all the og premiums in the second page along with the new ones. Also, chilly pepper could be a premium. Edit: along with explodonut and cosmic pea
Hey! I love this mod! I got a quick idea for a new upgrade plant for the upcoming fire peashooter, since I feel like Plasma Pea is kinda boring as an upgrade. Fire King Peashooter Basically it would look like the Fire version of the Ice Queen Pea, and would fire explosive peas that deal an area damage of 2 to all zombies around where it explodes.
this is so cool omg i need to share this i personally think the blood moon is sick, but it triggering randomly instead of, say, on huge waves is kinda weird to me i have no other complaints though, where do i play this
i feel like a few things here are a but unbalanced (Pepper Pult) and the plant choices are a bit random but they do fill niches the original game didn’t have. this looks great either way though. I am interested to see what you guys do with more adventure worlds and even perhaps Adventure 2 since that’s something Expansion didn’t touch probably needs a better title than Better Expansion as well since it sounds a lil rude to the original modders which I know is not your teams intent
This seems really cool ! If I can add some suggestions : - I don't know if it's the case because it wasn't shown but some things in pvz expansion should be in better expansion, like gold magnet peaking up sun or cactus able to shoot zombies even on roof's slopes - in my opinion water pot should be an evolution of flower pot because it unlocks really good plants (cattail, sea starfruit, seaweed and of course, sea-shroom) - the glagantuar should have something to differenciate him from a basic gargantuar even without his mask, maybe a big scar on his face - and finally, I think the glagantuar smash should have a shock because the 3x3 attack seems kinda weird at the moment. Same thing for the ice block zombie, maybe some ice particles around would do the trick Anyway, these are juste suggestions, the mod looks already really cool !
one thing i hope this mod can do is make it so i can replay adventure without having 3 slots taken by random picks. i love crazy dave and all but i am not happy with him about that
I was lucky enough to try the social version of the pvz when I was a kid. They even sold those Chinese pvz plant cards that had holographic texture on them outside elementary schools
I have a problem with this mod, when I win a minigame the trophy appears bugged and doesn't let me pick it up, does anyone know how to solve this? please

How is it a group of extraordinary and very talented people can make this incredibly awesome mod and pop cap is doing horrible at making pvz3, that game really hurt my eyes.
Seeing a new plant being unlocked after 5-10 instead of a bag of coins was incredibly satisfying. I REALLY love how you guys went out of your way to make new plants, new zombies, and a new gimmick for your world and decided not to change many things with the game, because it feels so much more like an expansion that way. And the new textures? Chefs kiss. If you guys make more for this mod, I'll be really excited to see it!
It’s genius. It looks exactly like a clickbait thumbnail, but everything in it is actually fully implemented in the game. It’s like an anti clickbait, it’s a click incentive or something
it feels so much like an actual part of the game, with the music, plants, zombies, and notes from zombies as well as dave dialogue. if you told someone who hadnt played the game in a few years that this was the current game, good chance they would belive it
World 7 should be Snow version of pool day, with the pool frozen. It should be melt able by using fire plants. In the frozen pool lane you won't need lilypads but pots and your plants will die after certain time due to the cold. The melted ice would turn into water and any plants on top should fall in the pool.

I was thinking World 7 should be a Sewer since the zombies have tried front, back and top it makes sense that they would try from below next. 4 water lanes with 2 flat pot lanes in the middle.

I think the doom shroom balance shouldnt of happened since its gonna feel weird to most players when literally everything is the same except doom shroom and also plant balance isnt really important in pvz since every game is heavily imbalanced since no one uses certain plants unless their forced to such as cactus so if your gonna balance plants you should change all of them instead of just one
