I spent about 5 hours Saturday going through your video! It was so helpful installing my trolling motor and battery. Thank you so much for these resources. Keep them coming installing fish finders and anchors. I would love to keep improving my kayak!
Random question here but can you move the steering on the PWR 129 to a hand system like what’s on the Native Titan X? Reason being is that i fly fish and want to see if I can get the peddles (as awesome as they are) out of the way. Thank you so much again for all the videos and info. So helpful.
Unfortunately, we are not aware of any products on the market that allow you to move the steering from foot controlled to a hand controlled. One option you could consider is a bow mounted Xi3 GPS trolling motor: bonafidefishing.com/products/pwr129-bow-motorization-kit-with-saltwater-motorguide-xi3-gps-and-dakota-12v-100ah-battery
@@bonafidefish oh yeah. I have an Xi3 as well :) i just really wanted to steer the troqeedo when sitting (when traveling up stream or across the lake) but then not have the foot peddles in the way of the fly line. Not a big deal of course. Thank you again! You are so helpful
This is not something that we have tested so we cannot guarantee will work. That said, ff it is the 45inch 12v 55LB motor it seems like it could possibility work, but may require the specific Minn Kota Plug and Receptacle. The kit includes the Plug and Receptacle for the MotorGuide Xi3. Here is a list of what is included in the PWR Bow Motorization Kit (without Battery or Motor) below. -Breaker, Waterproof Manual Reset 60Amp -Screws and Nuts for Installations -Rod Sock to cover wiring -Wiring: 8 Gauge Black Red Zipper Wire -Dakota Lithium Connect-Ease 12 Volt Trolling Motor Connection Kit -Heat Shrink Sleeves 1/2" -Connector, 8 Gauge Butt Connector -Lugs, 8-gauge Copper Lug -Rope for Lift/Lower Lines -Bungee -Lift/Lower Knobs -Pull Handle for Lift/Lower Lines -Deck Line Guides -Spectra Cable -Carabiner -Knob Rest -MotorGuide Xi3 Quick Release Bracket -MotorGuide Trolling Motor Receptacle -MotorGuide Trolling Motor Plug -YakAttack GT Cleat XL -YakAttack Through Hull Wiring Kit(s) -PWR Bow Motor Mount Sorry we do not have a firm answer but hope this helps!
You do not have to mount the breaker on the hatch but we do not recommend laying it in the bottom of the boat. An alternative is to use our new "Computer Plate" which mounts inside the bow of the PWR for attaching electronics. It is in stock and can be found here: bonafidefishing.com/products/pwr129-computer-plate
@@thomasallar169 It is super simple - we basically send the plate with double sided taped foam strips and it slides right up into the bow of the kayak. The tape adheres to the kayak and to the plate.
