PXG has just launched the brand new Black Ops woods for 2024. The new driver has a new titanium face for great ball speed and 10K MOI for ultra forgiveness. Black Ops fairway woods launch high, go far, and offer tons of adjustability. The hybrids look great and can be dialed in to the perfect distance or ball flight bias.

The Black Ops is the first PXG release that I've been interested in. Gives me very "Bio Cell" vibes, which is a really good thing. There's a PXG fitting store up in Cincinnati, so I'd like to give these a shot. Have an AI Smoke Max on order since I had success with the Paradym, but this may be a good option.

I was down at the PXG center in Cincy last weekend. First rate experience. And yes I walked out ordering the Black Ops. And I have been playing Cobra for the last 5 generations.

@@CactusGolf87 I cannot comment on previous gens. Never hit them nor do I know anyone that has. But I am taking a friend down there this spring since the retired military fittings are only 25 bucks. He will be testing the gen 5 and 6 to keep costs down. The only thing I heard while there was a guy getting the BLack Ops coming from a gen 4 in the next booth. He liked the sound, spin, and ball speed improvements. I am not as sensitive to sound since I used to play Ping K series through the G30. Those were pretty loud and "pingy", but again I care about how smooth a club swings for me and how it performs. I have a negative 2.5 degree attack angle with the driver. I am hard to fit driver, but only need 2 swings for 3 wood and hybrid and I am fit. I am a 8.6 handicap with driver the weakest part of the game. Most rounds I will only hit driver 2 times, then put it away. 3 wood is the club I tee off with 90% of the time....... hopefully that will change this year.

That Graphite Design Tour AD VR is kind of a forgotten and underrated shaft. It has a slightly higher balance point so I love it in Ping drivers with the heavier heads, too. Great feel - kicks hard, but for a blueboard-type shaft has a pretty stable handle and tip. I’d love to hear more about how you get along with it if the PXG 3W makes it into a “what’s in the bag” video.
