Thank you for the video! I know I am going to love this accessory! I had to come here because I wanted to see the drilling, etc. I removed the fender from my CBR250R because I wanted to make sure it was clean.
Yes, you can use an adhesive. A good epoxy would be perfect! It will take a lot more work to install as you'll very likely need to remove your fender to clean it properly and to clamp the Fenda Extenda to your fender while it dries.
In response to your earlier comments and dialogue with our Canadian distributor, A Vicious Cycle, I am writing to confirm that Pyramid Plastics UK has been trading since April 1985 and that we are a family owned business with a worldwide reputation. In the USA we have several distributors, one of whom has been working with us since the early 90's. He is well placed to give you an honest opinion on our company's legitimacy and we would be happy to give you his contact details if you so wish.
Which company are you having trouble finding if they are legitimate? Pyramid Plastics have been around and owned by the people in the UK since the 1980's (if you're selling junk it is unlikely your business will survive 25 years), and A Vicious Cycle (us) have been in business here in Canada since 2007 and since then have grown from a 1 person business to a staff of 14 selling some of the best motorcycle products sourced all over the world.
I've owned by bike only for 15 days and I already found a number of sites in several countries witnessing at least a good improvement when fixed to OEM fenders. Just learn how to use search engines and community networks. If you don't want to use chinese products, you can throw away half of your household items AND a good amount of your Ninja as well. And finally - what a fuss for a $30 item, man. You'll spend probably more on a meal in a diner and that one goes down the drainage pipe next day!
good to know. I bought mine a few months ago (July 2014) and I attached it with screws as was instructed, but cut the tips off etc. Great product at reasonable price but I did not see any push rivets.
Not quite haha you're both correct in your own Countries, UK mostly uses spelt but is open to change and the use of spelled is being used more but!!!! colour will always be colour not color. Tyre is a black rubber thing on cars, tire however is what happens to people who become tired or sleepy, I tire of this conversation "bored" British English / American English. Both wrong both right.
