Was never meant to be, that doesn’t seem to be supergiants kind of thing at all, Pyre versus is the only kind of even co-op I can think of right now in a SG game and it’s not online, they make single player games and that’s fine, they’re amazing at it
Nice review mate. Sad to see gameondaily end, but this is a fair trade off. Hope you and Gaz will collaborate again in the future though, your contrasting personalities and chemistry was unique.
I don’t think Pyre was ever meant to be any kind of esport, I think that’s kind of an unfair thing to put against it, there’s even a polygon article about why they didn’t add in online multiplayer
