Packages allow for a hierarchical structuring of the module namespace using dot notation. In the same way that modules help avoid collisions between global variable names, packages help avoid collisions between module names.
Python modules can get access to code from another module by importing the file/function using import.
The _init_ method is the Python equivalent of the C++ constructor in an object-oriented approach. The _init_ function is called every time an object is created from a class. The _init_ method lets the class initialize the object's attributes and serves no other purpose. It is only used within classes.
