I must say, I've started and stopped learning python so many times. I'm not a fan of learning about datatypes for datatypes sake. The projects way of learning is really the most fun! Thanks for your approach and for your great tutorials!
Totally relatable. I have started Python tutorials thrice already from the beginning and now since I haven't done anything Python related, I need to start again from 0. I'll try this video.
I am 53, Mechanical Engineer. I am learning with you since many years (Excel). Now, I am still learning with you Python!. I want to thank you for your easy approach to teach things. Great Job!
I wasn't a fan of python because I gave up at some point in my early journey in data analysis. I was glad I'm now an Excel guru which has exposed me alot to any programming language and currently I'm in love with SQL Server. Following and learning from you as an Excel expert, dem you amazed me alot with your magic now migrating to Python is a win win thing I'm beginning to 💕. Thank you for bringing python into my life. I really love the loop iteration and the way you explain python. Thanks God bless 👏🤗🎉👌🙌🤝💐🌹🎈🤩.
Hi Chandoo, I am extremely grateful to you for your all support and guidance... Experts and institutes charge for this content and you have published free of cost so people who are really interested but can't afford highly paid classes, can learn with your material... I would love to meet you one day not sure it will happen or not.... You're gem of india...please keep us educated and updated... Thank you😌
Thanks Aniket. My mission is straight forward & simple. Help one million people every month. I find sharing content thru RU-vid & my website is the best & easiest way to fulfil that. While I do have some paid programs, I offer 90% of everything I create for free thru these mediums.
I've only watched 10 mins of this so far, and I can already say that this video is great! Not only you give practical examples, but you also explain the main concepts in a very easy to understand way and show relationship among key elements. Amazing job!
Thank you for a great video. I'm currently a finance assistant but hoping to switch careers and become a data analyst. Currently improving my Excel skills and learning Python with some real world projects.
Few days ago, I decided to starting learning Python. Actually I have subscribed to your channel for Excel Learning. But today RU-vid has Pop Up to me this great lesson, and I very thanks for your willing to share your knowledge.
Your teaching approach is so amazing that a few people have on this platform. Your recommendations are quite genuine and honest. Thanks for inciting my interest in coding with python.
Hi Chandoo. great job there. could you please explain about the little homework you left for us for coding the minimum in expensecalc? i did everything but i couldnt figure out the logic using if conditions.
Hi Chandoo Thank you for the subtle manner in which you introduced python. I watched the entire video in one sitting. It was easy to follow just enough to whet the appetite for more intense python coding and learning. Awesome video as always - thank you for sharing 👌🏻 👏🏻 Regards Yahyah Clarke Cape Town, South Africa
This projects based approach is definitely a more attractive way of learning anything let alone Excel and Python.. Although I am a Professional Accountant by IT has always been my first love. I am also a passionate onsite Excel Trianer in Karachi, Pakistan. Would love to see more advanced vidoes as well on the topic of Pythan usage along side Excel
Great and amazing tutorials. This tutorial will help me grow my RU-vid channel. With my knowledge on VBA, I'm going to develop a lot of applications on my channel. Thanks very much for the education sir
@chandoo I noticed you are using a mac for excel, what is your recommendation between using windows or mac to perform complex excel functions and even get into data analytics? Looking forward to your reply.
can you make a video on complete python concepts for a data analyst role please chandoo garuu in your fun and interesting way of explanation in telugu.
Pleased make a video on some portfolio projects one with non IT background or no domain experience in data analytics can build for their profile..some dashboard/visualisation projects/ or data extraction and cleaning type.
Thank you for this awesome tutorial @Chandoo , would love to get few more similar guided projects from you, will be very helpful for some folks like me who are not good at sticking to lengthy courses to learn python.
31:32 -- exp =-1 total = 0 maxexp = 0 minexp =0 while exp != 0: exp = int(input("What is the expense? (Type 0 to stop)")) total = total + exp if exp > maxexp: maxexp=exp if exp< minexp: minexp =exp print("Your total expenditure is " + str(total)) print ("The Maximum you have spent is" + str(maxexp)) print ("The minimum you hvae spendt is "+ str(minexp))
exp= -1 Total = 0 maxexp =0 minexp = None while exp!=0: exp= int(input("what is the the expenditure ")) Total= Total+exp if exp>maxexp: maxexp=exp if exp is 0: minexp=minexp elif minexp is None or exp
Alright chandoo 😁 👌 They use to say its a steep learning curve to learn python, but given strong database and vba background can also be use to relate your understanding on how to apply the same approach using Python. Goodluck to us aspiring Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientist! Lets thrive in learning new concepts every single day. Its clever how different introduction to Python tutorials start with print hello world. 😅
Exactly what I was looking for , I’m trying to get into the finance side of analytics , I’m currently getting to different certificate from different schools , I would like to master python , any recommendations? I just subscribed you have good content , thanks 🙏
Dear sir, Kindly make a video on SQL Tutorial for Data analyst. The way you explain the topic is excellent and easy to understand. So it is a humble request to you, it will be beneficial for all the beginners.
Hi Chandoo. Greetings from Kenya. Thank you for this great resource, it's amazing, and I am following along as you demonstrate how to work in python. However, I am stuck at the first home work, where I want to modify the code so that I can get the minimum value for the expense. Kindly assist on this.
Excellent video and tutorial. It would be great also to see a video where you use Python instead of Excel in the real world environment. I see so much data role descriptions requesting Python experience yet I don't understand what difference/advantages it may bring. Yes I understand you can utilize Python to further create visualizations etc but I can also do the same using Excel and PowerBi. Hope I am being understood. Anyways, this is an excellent 1 hour video going through the basics to get familiar with the concepts. It's great seeing you back since the old days when I got your emails on Excel improvement tips before you migrated!
I did my 1st exercise exp = -1 total = 0 maxexp = 0 minexp = 0 while exp!=0: exp = int(input("What is the expense? (type 0 to stop)")) total = total + exp if exp>maxexp: maxexp = exp else: minexp = exp print("Your total expenditure is " + str(total)) print("The maximum you spent is " +str(maxexp)) print("The minimum you spent is " +str(minexp)) Output: What is the expense? (type 0 to stop)18 What is the expense? (type 0 to stop)12 What is the expense? (type 0 to stop)10 What is the expense? (type 0 to stop)0 Your total expenditure is 40 The maximum you spent is 18 The minimum you spent is 0
Thank you so much sir for introducing me to python!! Your video on power query tutorial helped me a lot!! Your mind mapping technique is awesome. Thank you once again and keep posting more tutorials on python and excel.
Hello Chandoo, Thanks for this great tutorial. How to get a positive number inside a string f in the print function ? else: print(f"Hello {name}, you were 50 {yearsto50} years") Thanks
thank you so much providing the information. as student, i am asking you, i have a little bit concerned. " please guide me", i have been working those technologies Advance Excel and VBA macros , Power Bi and Microsoft SQL server Database. 1) while giving an interview , they are saying VBA is outdated, still you are in VBA and they are suggested get python . 2) at present in India , there is not a calls in power Bi, people are suggested tableau is best. finally i am done ,i have mentioned in profile, "python and power Bi , SQL server database and Excel is it good profile? Please say me, how will I get Power Bi calls
I'm so glad that I found this content! For the Minimum expense, my code doesn't work... can anyone help me out? exp = -1 total = 0 maxexp = 0 minexp = 0 while exp != 0: exp = int(input("what is the expense? (type 0 to stop) ")) total = total + exp if exp > maxexp: maxexp = exp if exp > 0 < maxexp: minexp = exp print("your total expenditure is " + str(total)) print("The maximum you spent is " + str(maxexp)) print("The minimum you spent is " + str(minexp))
exp= -1 Total = 0 maxexp =0 minexp = None while exp!=0: exp= int(input("what is the the expenditure ")) Total= Total+exp if exp>maxexp: maxexp=exp if exp is 0: minexp=minexp elif minexp is None or exp
liked your video enjoyed it , how to work with excel using python like we do in VBA Start to finish. Error handling also. make video on these also. it will be grateful ! thanks
Really excellent tutorial, thanks! You’ve done a fantastic job of creating a “from zero to coding” introduction to Python, this is just what I needed to get started!
Hi, is this course good for someone who doesn't have previous programming knowledge but good experience of MS Excel? I am basically asking if there is a pre-requisite for this training?
It's amazed me how insightful this video is and this is free!! 🤗 Also, Chandoo could you please make video about data cleansing with Python? thank you 🤗
I believe there is some divine power...how do you know what I wanted from you... I watched numerous video but not even one made me jump in ... You just made my day... Greetings from India... Please keep this series goin... I think you should make videos on how to live your life tutorial :-)
exp=[] e=-1 while e!=0: e=int(input("expence!")) exp.append(e) print(exp) print("no of expences", len(exp)) print("total exp", sum (exp)) print("min exp", min(exp)) print("max exp", max(exp)) For expence calc2 can't I do like this Please tell me if this is wrong and also when I enter 0 as input it's also adding 0 value to the list. How do I get rid of that. Other than that everything works the same way
Python expects variables to be defined or _instantiated_ before you use them. So if you don't set exp to some value before the loop, then we can't check the while condition. What value we can use? As we are dealing with expenses, -1 seems appropriate.
Hi there.. thanks for your Super and appreciation. I think you will need some more Python knowledge if the job is python based. I suggest learning more about Object oriented programming, list comprehension, Numpy, Pandas and visualization libraries (either matplotlib or seaborn) at the least. Programming is a life long learning process, so focus on building your "thinking" and "problem solving" skills first and then figure out how to express that logic thru Python. All the best.
