Welcome to a new season of Excel meetups for our meetup group!
I hope you all had a great September month break, and we could not start in a better way than with a presentation by no less than three members of Microsoft's Excel team to tell us all about the new and long-awaited feature in Excel: Python.
While this might not be something for all Excel users, it might become a pivotal point in the work and careers of many professionals.
We are looking forward to meeting you on Wednesday, October 25th, at 08:00 PM AST to learn more about Python in Excel.
Python is one of the most popular programming languages today, loved by business and students alike - used for data analysis, visualization, machine learning and more. Python in Excel makes it possible to natively combine Python and Excel analytics in the same workbook - with no setup required.
With Python in Excel, you can type Python directly into a cell, the Python calculations run in the Microsoft Cloud, and your results are returned to the worksheet, including plots and visualizations.
Python in Excel leverages Anaconda Distribution for Python running in Azure, which includes the most popular Python libraries such as pandas, statsmodels, Matplotlib and seaborn.
