Hey everyone. LONG TIME NO SEE. I know this is the first video in a long time but I plan on getting back to tutorials in 2023 and hope for many more uploads this year. I hope everyone had a safe holiday and is enjoying their new year. Also, I had some issues with my code formatter in this video. I plan on fixing this today. I usually try to keep the screen clutter free for you all, so please try to ignore the editor adding in a lot of unneeded suggestions and filling stuff in for me. I need to uninstall a couple of experimental packages to my editor and it should be back to normal.
Corey! You were gone so long that I managed to get my first job in IT, and get promoted to mid software engineer. You are one of the people who made this possible. It is so glad to see you back!
My advice to people: until the real Powerball jackpot won, don’t spend you luck with this stimulation :)) Because it would haunt you for the rest of your life if you ever won the jackpot in this stimulation after a handful of drawings.
"Dear Corey - I just wanted to express my gratitude for the free Python and Django teachings that you have made available to everyone. Your videos have been incredibly helpful for me in my journey to learn programming, and I have been 'eating' them up as my breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to helping others learn.
Since you last uploaded, I registered a social network LLC, got 100k+ in funding, and mastered Django REST API. I now get regular website development clients as well. I can’t thank you enough for teaching me how this world of development works. 🙌
So glad you're back. Your RU-vid videos played a huge part in my Python journey, and now I'm a Data Scientist at a publicly traded e-Commerce company. Thank you for your quality content!
Return of the king. Thank you so much for all the free recourses you've put on RU-vid. I've seen several other comments similar to mine but your videos were very monumental for me to land my first software engineering (Python) job. Glad you're back!
Bro!! You don’t own us anything. So happy you felt like putting up new Python videos! I’ll pile on to everyone and say you’re super clear and thoughtful when you explain what’s going on. Truly talented.
The OG Tutor is back! Soo good to see you back at it again. You're one of the major reasons why I have such a good career in the IT Industry. Thank you :) OMG, the source code pro font, orange-white color scheme and the OG Sublime Text editor!
Welcome back my favorite instructor. Although I don’t program much of python anymore, I am still enjoy your RU-vid teaching style and was praying that you are healthy and OK after all the time you were missing.
When your last video was released I was just a noob trying to learn programming, I'm still a noob who is trying to learn programming but now I have a job in the industry and I am getting paid for it :). I truly appreciate the effort you put into the videos and it is very good to see you making videos again. Thank you for everything!
Been few years since I stopped coding but I'm back to excitement when I saw my fav python teacher name on YT recommendation. Man you are the best. Glad to have you back.
Hey you've been a huge part of me learning python and it's because of you that I got a career and a job now. Forever grateful and appreciate you ❤️ Welcome back Corey!
Omg, so happy to hear your voice! And for me timing is perfect! I got my first coding job in 2020 and today is first day after I had to leave this job. Looking to practice my python skills after 2,5 years of writing in god-awful JS 😅
Man... I missed you so much... I thought you were gone for good. After seeing your new video notification, I couldn't believe myself! I'm about to cry. 😭😭😭 I'll never forget your help.
So glad to see you back in action, Corey! Your videos were the reason I had started along my current career path half a decade ago, and I'm so thankful for each of them - regardless of their frequency! Thank you for being such an excellent teacher and for guiding us along the Python world.
Hey Corey, I just got my first job in tech as a Python software engineer. Your courses were a big help for me in my job interviews! I had no CS degree or bootcamps, just a portfolio and knowledge from RU-vid, Udemy, and Coursera.
That is amazing! Congratulations for your first software engineer job. Please tell us more about how you found the job and a little about your entire journey of self-teaching.
I started learning with your videos and they provide an amazing guide to people that are looking to get into coding and web development. I'm very happy to hear you are coming back I dare to say you have helped thousands of developers
Welcome back Corey. it really is none of your viewers business why you were away. I am glad, as I am confident others are too, that you are back. Thank you for all that you do.
Hey, Corey! Recently I landed my first internship as a developer. Your Django tutorials (and other) were the reason why. I learned so much from your channel, got confident enough to make my own projects. Thank you very much for your incredible work. Best regards!
I've made a career transition to IT as a python developer because of you Corey. I used to watch your videos during my struggling days. Glad to have you back.
Hey! I last watched your videos back in late 2018 when I started my first internship, back then I was in my first year of CS and was trying to setup Flask to solve a small problem in the company. Today, few months after I graduated, I just started a new job (after a few in between), which I consider a milestone for myself. Thank you for being a part of it!
The Return of The King! Your videos helped get me started in my programming journey during the pandemic. Now I'm a Senior software engineer. Welcome back!
You've helped me better understand python in so many ways when i started programming. Picked up some key skills from this channel that I still use daily in my quantitative research job. Really cool to see that you're back to provide high quality tutorials for the next generation of aspiring programmers to enjoy as well.
Great to have you back. I have been reading through comments, it is amazing to see that you touched so many people's life and changed for good. What an achievement for a man.
Corey!! I just want to thank you for all of your videos you made in the past. I wouldn’t be where I am today without your amazing tutorials. You have such a gift for clear and concise instruction, and you have rescued me during many late nights. I currently work in my first tech job as an analytics engineer and I owe that in large part to you. I am so beyond ecstatic that you’re finally back in time for the next group of people to see what amazing things you have to teach them!
Subscribed to you about a week ago and was convinced that it's almost archive-like channel at this point. It's great that you're back. Top quality educational stuff.
Glad to see a new upload, happy new year and all the best for 2023! I have revisited many of your Python videos multiple times! Keep up with the good work!

Happy to see you back, Corey! I'm new to your channel and was hoping to see new videos since many of your videos are pretty old. Hope to see some more awesome stuff from you this year. Hope you are well physically, mentally, emotionally, and otherwise!
My first expression when I saw your video - "Where have you been Corey!? Where have you been???" Then the answer - "...I know it's been a long time since I've released a video" :) Glad to have you back! Thanks Corey!
I only just discovered you a month ago, but I'm already glad to see you back. Been watching your series on django to help me with my web app that I'll use as a demo. Extremely helpful! Cheers
Hey Corey, I've been wanting the right opportunity to thank you for the all amazing free and tutorials you've posted on your channel, it has helped immensely and I've been working as Software Engineer since the autumn 2021 essentially thanks to you🙏🏿, I hope you know you've had a positive impact on many people's lives and have a community eager to support you and welcome you back!! Looking forward to amazing future content ❤
The way you structure your videos is simple and straight forward, most people just try to do other as fast as posible without describing why and how , thank you
No way!!!!! This notification made me smile. It has been so long. I dropped everything and here I am. I learned so much from your videos. I owe you so much. I've been recommending your videos ever since.
Hi Corey, It's been a long time, master. It's awesome to have you back ❤ I start learning python with your videos, and I'm a backend developer with about two and a half years of experience. Thank you, Sir
Seeing Corey back makes me so happy! I stumbled upon you in 2019 while I was working a dead end job and the only thing I knew about Python was that it was a snake. Now I manage an analytics team, love the work I do and work on personal projects on the side. The quality of my life has increased exponentially thanks in large part to your videos.
It's funny that I have been writing this for a while. And I'm happy to finally see a video from anyone about just about any lottery picker or simulator. So thank you 😉
Welcom back from France ! Learned so much from your videos, thanks for all the efforts you're putting on these tutorials, keep going, we all love your work. Many thx again
Haven't watched it yet, but pressed the like button. I am so glad that you are back. You are my best teacher Corey, continue your great work. Greetings from Iran 🖤✌️
Wow, I'm so happy to see that you're back! Your videos helped me so much when I first set out to learn programming. Thank you for being awesome and taking the time to teach us!
Hey Corey I longed that you return to RU-vid soon and my prayers have been answered. I would love to thank you immensely for your great tutorials which made me a good programmer. Thanks a lot and looking forward to more awesome works.
Hi Corey I'm from non-IT background who's interested in IT/CS field, watch few of your videos, seen numerous tutorials but no one can even come close at your stature, I can say that you are an excellent teacher, you're the best I've ever came across. I was expecting detailed video of yours on the pros n cons of chatGPT & future of programming, could u please make one?
@@coreyms thanks for reply n that too instant, sure take your time on researching but please give special attention on "future of programming", should people like me who are absolute beginner learns programming or no because I've been reading that AI will make programmers obsolete and I've read articles that there are many software which writes codes itself. So I see very bleak future, waiting for your thoughts.
@@coreyms I'd actually love to a video in this as well! I found Adrian Twarog's video most helpful when I was first trying to use it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JTxsNm9IdYU.html. And Dzung from Honeysuckle did a really interesting video using it to assist with recipes on her channel.
@@SaddamHussain-we9ec To put your mind at ease a bit, I’m extremely skeptical that AI will take programming jobs any time soon. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing technology, but it will likely be used as a tool instead of a replacement. Programming is very difficult for an AI to do on a higher level. If programming jobs are lost to AI, then that means that many many many other jobs would have gone first, which means by the point it reaches our career, there will likely be a societal reaction and response already in place (whatever that may be)
Hey Corey, Besides how invaluable your videos are to me, you are also the main reason i started using "source code pro" as a font haha, , glad you are back man, hope you are doing good and safe a s well.
Ah so happy to see you back man! I can't thank you enough for your awesome videos. In particular your Django course, which I extensively used to help me build out my first web app 3 years ago. I've since got a fullstack engineer job and you helped me big time with that. Thanks so much Corey. Take care
Welcome back, man. Perhaps many people have said it but I still wanna thank you for your tutorials especially the flask series. It was really getting me started until finally find a well paid job. Now I have some savings that I believe will be enough to fulfill my needs and also dreams. Seriously I just cant thank you enough. Wishing you a splendid journey ahead. Keep up the great work and keep inspiring many others.
Corey, I know there is a chance that you may never see this message, but I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the impact you have had on my life. Your RU-vid Flasks series and content have been invaluable in helping me become a software engineer (today I can safely say that I've made it), and I am incredibly thankful for all that you have shared. As a Brazilian who has faced many challenges in life, including growing up in a slum, I am especially grateful for the opportunity to access high-quality educational resources like yours, I truly mean it. Thank you for everything you do. I hope that you, and those you care about, are able to achieve all the success and happiness that you deserve. Also, keep up the great work, Corey! Your videos are truly outstanding. I am confident that your work will continue to inspire and benefit many others!
