Ignore the haters, this is actually pretty accurate. A lot of people are missing that "7-5" isn't an objective comparison, because those 12 things have more or less importance depending on what's being programmed. Making a simple script or dependency-heavy project? Python is better. Making a resource-intensive video game or embedded-system program? C++ is better. P.S. Good video, I like the editing. :)
Technically it does but yeah compilation speed shouldn't be a trait. It doesn't matter how long it takes to compile something as long as it's done in a reasonable time.
@@dorganzonope they not the Same the commands are often very different i Code python and batch wich are realy different. C++ and python are actualy similar but not the Same.
I used C++ as my second lang and if you don't consider that how low I practiced my first language then C++ is my first language as a 10 year old and you say that C++ melts your brain!?
I find it funny that people argue about programming languages, while nowadays they are all useful and used for their respective purposes, depending on your idea
These comparisons are always silly because There's much more factors than those being put in the video. Python is not suitable for desktop development (since it's interpretrd), without C/C++ tools like numpy it's extremely slow. Python has so much libraries that I no longer feel writing python is actual programming (it's good but many python coders today can't write anything except python because of it). Hovewer python is decent for backend and definitely is the GOAT of machine learning and data science(might be replaced soon tho).
Me neither, in reality python feels like a scripting language, and fck that syntax. Sure c++ has bad readability and can be confusing but at least i can code more things with better performance.
@@paskky913 who said that c++ isn't easy? I know that it has more lines of code to be functioning but when you understand the language, i could even say that it's easier than python
dont forget high performance and badass graphic game is created using c++ like fornite and pubg, and game engine is created using c++ like unity and unreal engine. Don't forget the core of Python library that need high performance like Tensorflow is written in C++.
Look, children, the pythonist is ordinary. The individual is extremely aggressive towards other languages, as he does not know them. Usually such people live in an environment with their own kind. It is often accompanied by ignorance of Python itself, which will be vehemently denied by the individual.
now create plane system using python, you will meet lag :( and actually C++ use less memory that python. python is just used for minor task in f35 fighter jet, the primary system is created using the high performance language c++.
just wait until you need to write a game/game engine… then C++ solos no-diff (C these days is not that powerful compared to C years ago, also C++ is easier to use and Assembly, well it’s too hard and sometimes compilers may even be better than you at it)
Oh let me guess. You made hello world in cpp. Python is only good if you need to do something fast. Just speed diff is large enought to make c++ win. Also wtf do you mean by compiler time? Python is interpreted. Also c++ is as hard to debug as python. And last thing I say. Python and alot of modern languages were MADE USING C++/C
@@CloudlessStudioyeah and as a 1'st year cs student who does c++ on my freetime, there is litteraly no programming language that i can't pick up and use effectively in a matter of weeks. C++ takes time and discipline but when you have all of that knowledge under your belt it opens so many doors and makes everything so much easier
I thing i want to add C++ can do amything while ptthon is restricted. I have created a virus and tested it in my device i doesn't used any external library just i used only C++ prebuilt libraries and after running the program i need to reset my device 😂😂 that's true there is a short on my channel
Python is easy to learn/use (I like it far more than other thing) but Java also isnt too hard and its can be as good as C#(for cose&use in my opinion) so Java is love... java is life ❤
@@hwstar9416A big industry size project with 400k+ lines of codes can be fully compiled in 8-12hrs depends on complexity with python. C/C++ will do the same thing only in 3-4 hrs. Assembly will do it 30mins to 1 hour.
@@hwstar9416Also Python only able to write surface level hacking scripts. But for sophisticated attack you'll always need good ol' assembly and C/C++.
C++ is less limited than python, like python cant do sh!t c/c++ does. Python also is just terrible when looking at other options therefor its my last choice of language.
I program Python because of its simplicity, friendliness and all the things Python can do (Python can do everything), but I have to admit C++ is also a great language, although I don't use it.
