When cooking snake, keep it whole. Cutting into small chunks makes the muscle retract and makes it tough and chewy. Also steam cooking helps keep it tender. I did this with a 4' rattler and it came out good.
Back in the 60's, we harvested green sea turtles in Hawaii for food. Catch um, clean um, eat um , mostly sweet sour style. So ono. So tender. One thing I noticed in your video that is different with my experience with reptiles is that we chunked the meat and put it into, what we called the "ice box" back then. Open up the ice box hours later, the light comes on, and all the turtle meat pieces would be twitching around. Maybe it was letting them have time to do their own Lomi Lomi massage that made um so tender. We don't catch turtles anymore. Later.
I did that for a while with a few years back with “The Swamp Apes” we got one measuring around 16’. There so many and so true you hardly see any small critters around anymore.
Been watching since i was in 5th im going to 12th rob always makes me happy every time i watch him he is a true inspiration glad to see u hook up with python cowboy 🤠 ❤️
Robert, I visited Stuart , Florida back in the late 70’s. I stayed at a county park right where the St. Lucie lock & dam is at. If you know where I’m talking about, let me know.
Man, I'm so happy Robert seems to have fully recovered from his stroke. I remember when I watched that video, it broke my heart man. I don't have any close family, Robert is very inspirational to me. It's truly a dream of mine to go on a fishing or hunting trip with Robert. So glad you're still doing awesome and producing such great content. Thank you so much!!
I would love to be able to go fishing with him one day it’s been my dream ever since I watched him from day one I’m 20 years old now and are planning a trip to Florida. Just got my business started and doing my own thing so I’d love to be able to get one chance to see him.
Hey Rob, Im a fan for a long time and would love to partake in any of your adventures when I come down to visit my father in Nettles Island in Jensen Beach. My father got my brothers and I into hunting and fishing back in the 70,s. I attended Camp Debruce in the Catskills and got my Hunter Safety Course at age 14. We all belong to Sunrise Fish & Game Hunting club located in the Catskills. We have done a great Alaska Halibut trip, awesome Salmon run in Lake Oswego, NY, and live on long Island enjoying what living on an island has to offer with Montauk fishing and off the south shore. Pop is getting older now but has some pep in his step and would love to get him out in the field for a hunt, or on the shores of a good fishing hole and share in the wholesome existance you spread everywhere you go. We are booked to come down June 22 and leave July 1st so if you have any time we could rub elbows would be a tremendous treat and honor to meet you and your beautiful family. You have so much positive energy surrounding you it should be bottled and distributed. May god bless you and your family so you can continue to spread the energy.

This is something special! My two favorite Florida Boys on RU-vid! The Everglades are a special place! Python cowboy thank you for what you do out there. When you picked that coke can up I was proud. I teach my son the same way.
I love this channel. I think if you wanted to take it up a significant notch, it would be to take some culinary courses and integrate what you learn into your "cooks".
Awesome! Just had a long text conversation with someone claiming to be Robert. It was from a comment I submitted and I had won prizes ect. Be careful of scammers. Luckily I grew up near Robert and ask questions he couldn't answer.
The fact you bit long enough to where you had to ask local questions to confirm means they probably got your data....be prepared for more casts in your direction by phishermen....
