The DoD needs to run background checks on all active service members and immediately and dishonorably discharge those who have expressed seditious views on social media or anywhere else.

If some American corporations require that job applicants provide access to their social media accounts for review prior to any decision about hiring, certainly members of the military, active and retired, as well as law enforcement should be subject to the same scrutiny. Given that members from both cohorts took part in the attempted insurrection of January sixth, and that racism and white supremacist ideology are ongoing problems in the American military and law enforcement, the vetting process must be more rigourous.

The Q-Anon believers, when caught in public, deny knowing about it. I had a row with a friend of a friend, who kept trying to do the "I'm not involved, i just pass along the information" dance. When i asked her if she would pass along passages from Mein Kampf, she sort of hesitated and said no.... After mentioning Q a few times, without response, she suddenly said: "I've never heard of Q-Anon..." It's not the first time i've heard this kind of argumentation. People realize, after a while, that the whole thing is kook-ville.

I've heard that plenty of times. It started with the "I'm not a trump supporter, I just believe..." Then evolved into I don't follow Q or know about xyz conspiracies, but end up telling me about them in great detail all the while pretending to be undecided on both topics while simulateously telling me it could very well be true and probably is. It's really scary actually, but they know damn well that it doesn't make sense, they just want to believe it, so they'll keep heading down this destructive road. Really sick and twisted

It's very similar to the "know nothing" party in the US history... when confronted about their conspiracy beliefs continued to claim that they "know nothing" about them. I find it infuriating because it is impossible to have a rational discussion with someone who claims ignorance of the topic they are trying to promote.

04:27 Gen. Michael Flynn: "He could take military capabilities and he could place them in those states." WTF? This doesn't even make logical sense. You can't "place" a "capability". It's not a thing. Capability means "the power or ability to do something". A general who does not know the difference between military units and military capabilities? What did I do this weekend? Well, its been 2 years since I've applied for low income housing as I'm disabled. It has not come through in time and I can no longer pay my rent. This weekend, I was preparing a sight in the woods for my boy and I to set up a couple of tents to live in. We're moving the day after tomorrow, when my rent is due. A fat lot of good Biden has done in this country. Its more of the same, keep making life better and better for the rich by taking more and more from the poor. Republicans, Democrats... You're all exactly the same.

It would be interesting to know how many people were in attendance. Listening to the audience reactions I'd guess less than 250. Given the cited $500 ticket price, that would leave a gross of about $150K. I wonder if the top five headliners made more than $10K each as a speaker fee, which I imagine would seem like enough for them to spend ninety minutes .peddling political MLM style snake oil.
