Wyoming is very, very cold and very Western. Daughter lived there for a few years. Low population. You may like it, but be sure to take a long visit there first. Very different culture than the South.

TY for this vid. I didn’t grow up in the best household as many out here haven’t so it’s nice to see a down to earth family structure, where the kids really love their parents and the couple really loves each other and want to stay together without fights. Makes me sad but also when I watch and just get into what you’re saying, makes me feel really good cause I feel like I’m put into it for a min, thank you! And great idea to go by Pal’s at the end 👍👍

I agree with Dusty extensive cold for long periods of time are very difficult cultures to live in.

As a life long wyoming girl......its not for the faint of heart. Make sure you enjoy wind. For 6-9 months of the year its a constant 40 mph with gusts 60 mph plus. So its not unusual for -30 to -50⁰ many many days during winter. Like not one time but alot of the time. Even on a warm day the "breeze" is 30 mph. We have an extremely short growing season & you'll have to amend the heck out of your soil. Depending on the town will tell how hammered with snow you would get. Its the drifting snow that gets you. Do not plan on having a 2 wheel drive vehicle here. You will never get anywhere. Always have full gas tank. Its 2 hours between most places. No random gas stations on our highways. The laidback life, the good people & the stunning scenery makes all the hardships worth it though. 😂

With Christmas coming a lot of people might be interested in merch from you. Also you need to work on a cookbook of YOUR recipes.

Self publish your own cookbook!! Have a pre-order and I’m sure your frugal family will support you all the way!!!

This was such a fun video, thanks for answering all the questions, I remember seeing Aunt Vicki’s question, it really gave me a chuckle! I really appreciate all you do, oh and as far as merch, gear that says “Food is a Human Right” would be cool too. We have to bring awareness, ever notice there aren’t “Wild” food producing trees in our communities? It’s NOT because they attract vermin, it’s because “they” those with an ungodly amount of money, want to control us, and want all of our food to be purchased, why else would the government force us to have a license to catch fish?!?! The individual families aren’t depleting and over fishing our waterways, think about it, who is?!?

I moved to Clark Wyoming 15 years ago from Minnesota and honestly I moved here for the milder winters. But here we live in the highland dessert so it also get extremely hot! Don't think of moving to Wyoming before checking out where I live in Montana. Beaverhead County in the town of Dillon. It is just beautiful here and very low crime. The winters are quite bearable. It's just a matter of dressing correctly. Not much wind to speak of. There is a wonderful college here. The nearest Walmart is 60 miles north of here in Butte. Lots of deer and elk. Love your family and channel 😊❤

hvac workers in fl or nv. or a really hot humid state make alot of money. my son wanted to do. but he got a batchelors degree in computer sciences. and another batchelors degree in criminal justice. he works for walt disney world on the security team hes a manager and loves it. he has good benefits as well. 4 nephews r master electricians. and 1 other nephew is a master plumber. these fellas make excellent money.

Stay away from southern Wyoming. During the winter Everything along I-80 ends up cut off because they have to close the Interstate due to weather. These conditions make it unsafe to drive. There have been times where parts of the Interstate have been closed for days.

For cube steak, my Mom used to make "Swiss steak". Dredge the steak in seasoned flour, sear the steak and sliced onions in oil, after the onions are translucent , cover with tomatoes (caned or fresh). Put in oven until tender. Serve over mashed potatoes. Yummy😊

Little House is my fav, watching it right now!! Wyoming would be great for most of the year, but not so much winter, unless you're totally prepared and stocked up for shut in time! In the 47 years I've lived in Ohio, I only had to be well stocked one year in winter and that was '86-'87, stuck inside for a little over a month because of regular snowfall and the 15 foot snowdrifts! Took til May to dig out my trashcans! I would love a great burger joint close by, Pal's looks awesome! I got McDonalds, Wendy's, and Burger King, but that just doesn't do it! I’m 100% vegan, yet I’m sure you can see I still watch all your shows! There’s still some thing I can grab from it and implement in my cooking. It may seem unlikely, but I can. And to make matters worse except for occasional cheat meals I don’t even consume any oil either. But you’re so personable that I just watch anyway!

My 5 year old grand daughter got frostbite on her face at school recess in Wyoming. I was horrified but it healed and she has no scars. But it is like 30 degrees below zero.

My husband is a truck driver and he has a dedicated run every week into Montana. He has been all across the state. I’ve been there twice to visit, and I agree it is fabulous! And I grew up on the Nebraska-Wyoming border and now live thirty miles away. I’ve been all over that state as well. We take it for granted and it’s awesome to see it through your eyes. My advice for saving for a large purchase is to TELL NO ONE! Seriously. If anyone else knows, you won't be able to resist the urge to talk to them when you're thinking about spending that long-term money on short-term things. It's far too easy for them to help you talk yourself into making the easy but wrong decision. Another problem that it could cause is when other people in your life encounter financial stress, instead of figuring out how to deal with their own problem, they may try to pressure and guilt you into solving it for them with the money you worked and went without to save. Personally, I include my children and spouse in my list of people to not tell. IMHO, if I set aside my spending money for a large purchase while the rest of them waste theirs on junk food, fast fashion, and 6 dollar coffees, that's none of their business. I certainly never hear any complaints when I come home with a new appliance or car or make a down payment on a new house.

It's me senior Diane from eastern shore MD. You mentioned "Little house on the prairie" love it too because morals , decency and caring for for another are what I like. Here on the eastern shore lots of farm land and when I see land that bare, no houses or anything I think of litle house and imagine children walking that length of land to walk to school. Love the land as it use to be. Dislike crowds and over population. People change and materialistic. Even though I grew up in different countries,_I have been blessed and being humble. Hey Dusty, take a bite of hamburger and then take a half a teaspoon of jam and eat them together. This way you’ll find out if you like it, and if you don’t, you won’t win the whole burger. I did this with tuna fish when somebody told me to cut up apples and put it in. Couldn’t figure how that would taste with mayo and relish, but wow, it was good! I simply took a bite of my tunafish sandwich and a small bite of an apple and chewed him together and ever since then I’ve been putting apple in my tuna.

Love this! My husband and I both work full time plus. Date night after the kids go to bed is a MUST for us. The time we do have while they are awake we like to spend with them. Also, we rarely feel like leaving the house after our work weeks so date night after the kids go to bed is always wonderful. ❤ Also, I know it’s a lot of extra work. But just a suggestion, get a computer program with templates and publish your own girl. Do a pre-order and find a print shop in your area. Just a suggestion!

Our date night was always Friday. Hubby came home from work and we always had a cocktail and a nice dinner with appetizers etc and we chatted and chatted. in our early years and no money we still did date night. We had date night until my husband passed away in 2020.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother Dusty. I lost my baby brother to suicide. Losing a sibling is so hard. Hugs. I also named my son after my brother.

Hello Brooke and Dusty! I am with you Brooke Little House on the Prairie is my favorite it on Hallmark Family everyday and I watch it as much as I can. Melissa Gilbert is going to be on When Calls the Heart for season 12 very excited for that. Brooke I am with you on the watermelon right now I am having to eat gluten free, soy free, dairy free, bean, rice, oat, sugar, corn, nut ,seed free pretty much all I get is meat, veg and fruit and this summer I habe been living on watermelon. Oh I do Christmas candy too its my favorite time of the year. I am in middle Tennessee and I have never herd of Pal I may have to go to your neck of the woods and find one. I know this is a random question. What if instead of writing it down you speak it out and then have someone else write it down for you. If that makes sense, my daughter has ADHD and she does voice recordings for her notes. That way her thoughts are there, but she doesn’t get tripped up on the actual writing it down aspect

Yaaa for Pal's!!! My daughter could eat there everyday!! Most of the Pal's are located where I live. There are 3 or 4 right in my town...3 or 4 in the next town over. My uncle lived here most all his life, then moved to Nashville later in life. Every time he came back to visit, his 1st stop was Pal's (he liked their hot dogs!). Their cheddar rounds are soooo good (only served at breakfast - cheesy hashbrown breaded & fried little circles of goodness). I, too love their chipped ham & cheese - no pickles) 😊 EVERYBODY should have a Pal's!😂

In n out sucks, and that is coming from a girl born and raised in the pacific northwest. Oregon and Washington has better little mom n pop burger joints. I was so disappointed when my family and I want to California for legoland and Disneyland and hated the food at In n Out, yuck.

That's funny about your Braydons name! Lol my second son is also Brayden, but with the more common spelling. However, our aunt always spells it with an O instead of an E. She's done that since the day he was born lol. Also, my Brayden is named after his PawPaw(my grandpa) too! His full name is Brayden Wayne.. rhymes with Braydon James! 😂
