9:37. Well, I was mistaken too when I've got mine Neo's strip with 5 leads on one site and 3 on another - "why?". Then I read very carefully Adafruit's hookup guide and best practices for Neo's. It's for secondary power supply. You have about 30, so you can get away with 5v/~2A for arduino board+strip+display+some modules, like gyro or temp/humidity. But you can hook up more PSUs if needed. Please read Adafruit's docs and leave links to it in description, and never skip resistor on data pin and 1000nF cap, as done most of youtubers. They can get away with it because they mostly hook 3-5 Neo's only, and use it only for 1 video. Also "60 led per 1 m, black" will give more options, you can even make a matrix from 2 strips like this. (My next project). Please think about to add more "spices" to videos about Neo's. There is too freaking much videos - "there is an arduno, this is fastled library, my 5 Neo's, now it's show rainbow, woo! [from library example]". boooring. - make 3 row and show MPU-6050 angle and speed with different colors. - use control options from ep. 59 and control effects / color sets / speed .. generally something different. Yeah, I actually took the time to read much more about it right after the video... I really need to think of a way to prepare for these "unboxings" much better. I get items that sit on my desk for several weeks before I actually take them out, so I completely forget about what's inside... I did get it running since and everything worked fine!
Got very busy with work... New gig, flying out to different locations; I'm working 10-12 hours / day and spend most evening in hotels... Good money; not much time for new videos.
