New Grey Market Episode: "My Plan to CRUSH $130 Million in Sales in 2024"
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pQt6ipa2N4M.html --~--
Have you ever thought about what it’d be like to buy a 2 million dollar watch? Can you picture what the purchase process would be like, for something like the Patek Sky Moon 🌒 Tourbillon? For those who think it’s as simple as adding something into a shopping cart, you’re in for some news. Welcome to Episode 34 of Q&A Tuesday, where I’ll be educating you a bit on the purchase process 🏷️ of adding such an expensive and exclusive watch to your collection.
💎 Find your next watch @ bit.ly/2Zehqvy
In addition to what it takes to be a proud and happy owner of one of Patek Philippe’s finest, I’ll also talk a bit about the Rolex Zerographe 3346. Made in 1937, It was the first luxury chronograph designed with an in-house movement and the first Rolex to have a rotating bezel. Is it the holiest of holies 🏆 (of holy grail watches)? Is it the rarest vintage Rolex out there? .. and more!
💬 Now that you know how I feel about Breguet, which manufacturer has the best looking hands (second, minute, hour hand) in your opinion?
Stay tuned to hear my answers to the following questions:
⚙️ What do you think about people just buying watches to flex? Is it really becoming a norm in today's society?
⚙️ For limited pieces such as the Sky Moon Tourbillon, what is the process when you buy one directly from Patek Philippe and how do allocations work?
⚙️ In your opinion, which watch manufacturer has the best looking hands (second, minute, hour hand)? (My personal favorite are from Breguet.)
⚙️ Have you handled and/or sold a Rolex Zerographe Reference 3346? How rare are they?
💕 BIG THANKS to bony wony, Cico88, HalmarkCreates, R Ramirez for their questions!

Roman! Thanks for all your hard work and gifting us 2 consistent videos a week. Can you please give us a tour of your office? Of your warehouse and where all the watches are kept? Thanks in advance.

Awesome video Roman. Since the launch of AP code 11:59, what are your views pertaining to AP being your favourite brand? Do you agree with AP CEO that it'll account for 20% of total AP sales? Thank you.

Love your videos Roman! You always seem to cater to the 1% ers of the watch world. Great content, but what about us poor folks with Breitlings, Omegas and only a few Rolex? Could you maybe do more on the "norm"? I.e., what do you think about some of the newer Breitlings coming out that are toned down a bit. Navitimer 8, new Chronomat 01. Also what's your opinion on Breitlight? Ive flipped a few Hurricanes. Seems like a niche.

Very interesting episode. I wondered about the Patek application process & if it works the same for the less pricey pieces like the world time 👌

great episode! Roman, how does London watch collector manage to get all these hard to get stainless models like pepsi, ceramic daytona, hulk , PP 5712 and so on at retail price. He only has stainless models and all of them are way above retail on the gray market so does it make a difference that he has a youtube channel and they see he is not flipping them or how do you think he does it? Thanks

Great video Roman. Really like your knowledge sharing about watches. What do you think about Chanel watches? Or other non-watch brand doing horology pieces?

Talk about educational videos. This was one of your best. Talk about celebrities and flipping their toys. John Cena and the Ford GT is a great example. He challenged Ford and Ford won this battle. Your ed ed example of Stern and Patek is right on! Keep the great stuff coming. Be well

I really like the AP Royal Oak Offshore 44mm Panda but I have a small wrist. How small a wrist do you think that watch starts looking too big for?

As far as the Patek goes, I understand it, but it just feels too restrictive as a consumer. If we're going to compare it to cars, the thing that worries me is some sort of lawsuit for selling after your purchase, i.e. John Cena.
@RomanSharf

as they say its not for everyone, with car flipping there are legal restrictions they make you sign but they are not binding forever,

Thank you for the video. Are "luxury companies"aware how they alienate themselves from very wealthy people by their ghastly prying questions?Many very wealthy people are horrendously private,for good reason,and the idea of handing over information on any level is beyond repugnant to them.This is why they use agents to obtain many items that they want,even if they overpay they see that as the fee.One of my bosses,who are quite wealthy,has used numerous agents to obtain art,property,cars and boats which the news had reported being bought by someone else,yet there was the piece of art,in this case,sitting in the front hall ready to be hung and dusted by my little cleaning company.All is not what is seemed and many of these companies cannot get through their front door,but the wealthy bosses' agents will.So are these companies unwilling to sell to agents for HNWI?
@RomanSharf
@RomanSharf 5 лет назад
When it comes to Patek they have the luxury of not caring about that, but nevertheless they are extremely private in their transactions so its never a problem.
@justjacqueline2004
@justjacqueline2004 5 лет назад
Fascinating and utterly discriminatory of those of a certain class.Peasants who have made the money and want a little bling just use agents to obtain their must have items.Even to the point of using agents at auction.
